  1. Is AntiCyber Crime any good at this point? I have a copy I can ship you on Monday if Asr's fixes don't do it.
  2. You owe me for the dry cleaning I need now after I just spit my Wedell all over my keyboard and lap.
  3. Art does really really good work and his prices are the same as they were five years ago. He built me a custom case for my Flying Mole amp a few years back and his work was flawless and he is a great guy to work with.
  4. Irony o ironies. Handel's Messiah and your post count. /\ /\ /\ /\

In that case, nix the liver transplant.

No problem, we have a couch in the office and waiting room so you can have an extended stay with visiting rights to my crappy office system.

Dusty this is LA, with MS13 just across town, a donor can be found no problem. Now a willing donor, that may take a few months.
  8. I think we can get you discount tickets as well, you just may have to impersonate a St John's MD. Not really, but we can get discount tickets. "It's a small world after all, it's a small world after all" ad nauseum.

Well my wife is friends with the transplant team at St. John's so perhaps we can work a deal............. On thread, Manley Labs is bringing their new preamp with a headphone jack, and their Stingray Ipod amp ( or something like that). Their 300B pre will be in Todd's room. In the Hoffman room just for Al, Manley has graciously agreed to provide their Steelhead and mono blocks to team with JPNumb's TT. Thanks to Mike for planting the Manley seed, this would not have happened without Mike's suggestion.
  10. Bummer, hope the sitch changes for the better.
  11. Von Schweikerts are known to have a very fast detailed and accurate signature, or at least is some reviewers opinion of them. Would you consider them good imaging and life like?
  12. If your still interested should we ask Manley for a Can Jam discount for you and see what they say? Pars, how do you like the Von Schweikert VR4s? They seem to be pretty well made speakers.

As in Vicodin and Brie with a Peter Michael Sauvignon Blanc?
  14. I haven't been able to find the original Trinity Sessions on DVD yet but you just reminded me of my Sessions at West 54th Street DVD. I bought it after I heard it on a really nice surround system and forgot about it until now. I would like to hear it again on the Smyth System to determine if it is as good as I thought. The DVD's acoustics from what I remember were really good and the fact that it was an "unplugged" recording session made it a must have.

Heck, fly out next week and Ken will take you on a wine country tour starting in Solvang, then Santa Rita Hills, Santa Barbara County all the way up to Sonoma and Napa. By the time you sober up it will be time to carpool back down south with JP numbs and Voltron. Now that's a real Can Jam tour.

That would be great and make sure you arrive at the Hilton by early Friday afternoon. If you do come and bring a large suitcase, perhaps I can snag another decorative stone as a Can Jam souvenir for you. That is if my supplier hasn't gone out of business by then.
  17. X2! One of the last scenes in Saving Private Ryan took on such realism with the bullets and tracers whizzzing all around and the reverb of the tank's treads was chilling. Then there was the live concert of the Eagles (I think), really did sound like you were tenth row center as if I was sitting right in the middle of the audience. I would love to get the DVD of the Trinity Sessions if it existed, and demo the Smyth system again.

Nine to five Saturday and Sunday is the official schedule. There will be some after hours private sessions on Saturday and possibly on Friday but details are sketchy at this point because they need to be worked out with the vendors. If you need a Saturday morning pickup, let me know anything's possible.

There is a small welcome/everyone meet up event for Friday evening at about 5pm which should be worth stopping by for; 909 and some others are trying to put together a bar and music run for Saturday evening. There is at least one Saturday hospitality event scheduled for Head Casers (that I know of) and as Voltron said there may be others. Hoffman is tentatively scheduled for 1 and 4 pm Saturday with Tyll and the other guy scheduled for talks in between. If you are interested, the speaker system that will back up the Hoffman talk is supposed to be pretty good and will be having private demos of their system's capabilities in between the Hoffman/Tyll presentations. Head Casers have priority for these demos if they are interested.
  20. Or the VacuVin wine corks. Not their intended use but works in a pinch.
  21. So noted. Warm up that checkbook......... No word from Maurice yet but soon I suspect. Your the Headcase TARP representative. Tasty Alcoholcollection Refinancing Participant
  22. That guy lives about five miles from me, I practically passed his house this morning on my morning bike ride. If anyone is coming to Can Jam and wants me to do a pick up, I can save you shipping costs at least.
  23. But will it be enough to finance your wine jones?
