yeah amazon blows. I once ordered the complete works of samuel beckett from amazon and they said it would be a month before it shipped. Since it is about $50 less on amazon than anywhere else I was ok with that. A month went by and it still hadn't shipped. A few days later I get another email from amazon saying it will be an additional month before they ship it. Again I felt it was worth the $50. Another month goes by and I get another email saying it will be one more month before it ships. I canceled the order after that. Fuck Amazon right in it's grimy asshole.

If you're brave enough to void your warranty you can open it up and paint the shell gray with vinyl paint.

I sure as fuck am if my gamestop has it in tomorrow. They usually don't get games in until the day after the release. I've been chomping at the bit for this game since the beginning of this year and can't wait! (we need a nerd emoticon for situations like this)

I just want to know if I'm still going to be banned or not. Do you think they'll be able to recover the banned list from 2006 to present? I can't quite remember but I think I was banned in early 2007.

we haven't even seen mass effect yet and there are already quite a few contenders for GOTY. Think about what a mess this would be if metal gear 4, deevil may cry 4 and GTA4 had not been delayed!

I bought this game a while ago and only last night had a chance to play it and it is fun. The single player that i've played feels like you're in a battle. Enemies are smart and take cover in a way that feels realistic your teams mates are on par with the enemies. I'm glad I spent the money and haven't ever tried the multiplayer yet. I'm going to get some friends over here this week and give it a try.

Not all of us here are are banned from head-fi. Some of us are 2xbanned from head-fi and on our 3rd account. We've all got to sell our mistakes at inflated prices to newbies somewhere.

I'll add this to the growing reasons as to why I'm moving out of washington state.

I'd like to see how people's brain respond to analog sources vs. digital in a functional MRI. I'm curious to see ultra high and low frequencies affect us on an emotional level. I remember seeing a study once that showed that even though we can't consciously hear ultra high and low frequencies, but our brains still react to them.

I made some grado pads out of memory foam around 4 years ago and found out that memory foam dampens to well. It made the grado's sound so thin and tinny like when you cover up the backs. They were a lot comfier though!
