Need some advice. I got my triple fi's remolded a little while back and when I got them back they had some fit/build problems. I sent them back and they fixed the problems with the fit/build except that they sounded much worse than when they were in their universal form. I wasnt completely sure of this because it was about a month - month and a half between having heard the universals to hearing the customs with correct fit. I got a pair of universal triple fi's today to see if there really was a difference in sound and the universals do sound 100% better (especially in treble extension). The problem is that I dont think fisher could fix this problem with what I've seen of their work. They dont seem to have much interest/knowledge in making the customs sound "right." So, should I just bite the bullet ($50 for molds + $90 for remolding) and sell the remolded triple fis, which would probably get me around $100, or should I try to get fisher to fix the problem, which I'm not sure that they will do seeing that it's past the 30 day period and they dont seem to really know what theyre doing. Thoughts?
