  1. I think pars says the ideal strippers work. I'm pretty sure I've seen them at my home depot
  2. cool, I think I'll switch to their stuff
  3. I got tired of stripping the jacket and shield off of the canare star quad stuff. I wasn't about to pay $6 - $8 a foot for silver hook up wire. I'll save that stuff for after everything is built and the wiring is the last thing to tweak
  4. Hasy anyone used the silver plated copper wire from navships on ebay? I just picked up 10 ft of shielded 3 conductor 24 AWG stranded SPC. I'm going to use it as hookup wire and maybe balanced interconnects. Has anyone had any experiences with it?
  5. They're here!!! I'll try and take some pics tonight. I should be able to start packing this weekend
  6. The boards are on their way. FedEx shows tomorrow for delivery!
  7. sbelyo replied to Edwood's topic in Games
So I ordered the Gamestop in-store $455 bundle. It came with Zelda BOTW, the strategy guide, the expansion pass, snipper clips, and one other physical game. I'll return the strategy guide and the other physical game when it comes to drop it down to $390 I'm starting to think the March 22nd re-stock statement was a ploy to get you in so the could pitch the bundle. No stores by me got a single switch today in Central NJ. Albeit I only called three.
  8. These are better schematics
  9. I got 4 matched quads from a legit seller on ebay. I'll protoboard a backplane for stacking one BIII module on top of the extra components needed for the ESS9018 to work with the V18 boards. If I can get it sounding good I'll work on a dual mono board. Probably won't get to it until the end of summer so this is a work in progress. I'll see what happens
  10. boards order! Should be about 2 - 3 weeks before they arrive. Same deal as last time
  11. at 75 pieces it goes down 30% I'll take some time this week to see if I can get a proper dollar amount
  12. Newest switchboard sent off for quote. I'll place the order for all the boards once I get the updated invoice.
  13. Paid status updated on spreadsheet. We have 6 outstanding
  14. Sending it off in about 30 minutes
  15. I assume you guys are ok with the latest switch board release? I'll send it off tonight if nobody has anything else to add about it
  16. sbelyo replied to Salt Peanuts's topic in Off Topic
No kidding... My gut says I'm gonna get hit here in central NJ. Harbor Frieght and the home depot only had the normal amount of people buying salt. Definitely not pandemonium. This tells me we're screwed as nobody is fearing the worse. I got a full tank in both cars, the snow blower, and the generator with another 10 gallons in cans and some firewood just in case. And, I have a six pack of miller lite, half a pint of BB Brandy, the makings for onion dip and chocolate chip cookies. I'm F'n set man
  17. yep, this is indeed the board that everyone has been waiting for. If someone would like to doublecheck it I'll send it off for a requote in the morning. That is assuming I have power I put off having a generator lockout panel installed in my load center so I have to run cords under the door or in the window. Gotta keep the mini reef running!
  18. cool, as far as I know it was. If everyone is good with the one above I'll have it requoted
  19. These are the people who've ordered the switchboard gwrskien MattN MLA Jose kevin gilmore judo cspirou chiguy Kerry Georgep Flyingsparks greyrab It seems most are willing to wait for the version that includes buffers and a servo. Is everyone ok with pulling it from this GB? If so I'll refund the money back to those who've paid already. Also, we're about 75% paid... One or two more and I'll place the order.
  20. For those of you that want the switch board, are we going ahead with the current version? Or waiting for a rework to include buffers and a servo?
  21. I'm not sure, but KG should be able to answer that
  22. It's not ready as of yet, but I have no problem holding that part off. Does anyone else what to hold off on the balanced input switch for a version that includes the buffers and servo onboard? Or continue with what's there http://gilmore.chem.northwestern.edu/boards/baseboardbal4.zip ?
