LOL - Time to get your dictionary out Rex! Infer and Imply are strong synonyms...Although some use infer to mean "to conclude", I was using it to mean "to hint at", which is completely legitimate. In reply #22, it was certainly hinted at...at least in the way I read the language.

Gentlemen: Sorry for stirring you guys up! And you are correct that I have not heard the Oppo yet, but the fact remains that I was not blown away by the Denon when I heard it...it sounded like every other SACD player I have heard recently...Will the Oppo sound better? Probably not, but it won't sound worse...at least not in a double blind test. (are we allowed to talk about THAT in here?) Was not talking about the video section because I could give two shits...sorry for not clarifying that...but I will say that the video section of the Oppo is no slouch. As to crappy posts and post padding and what-not...We're not gonna have that sort of college-kid whiny-trash floating around here are we? I thought we left those beefs behind at Head Fi! Hey grawk, sorry to correct...while yamazaki is very good, it is "hibiki" that Bill Murray was advertising in the movie.

I was recently able to directly compare the Ed 9's and the PROline 750's. They are obviously different headphones, with the bass much more present as mentioned earlier, but let's talk about comfort. I understand the funky leather and all, but those Ed9's have SERIOUS clamping action. Very uncomfortable in my opinion. The 750's are much more wearable over longer listening sessions.
