  1. I see VPI has been busy making sun stars. Apparently that price on the 6D at B&H is no long valid? I'm going to be in the market for a new body. Soonish. As soon as I buy a new car.
  2. Dusty!
  3. The U.P. Big Boy is indeed the reference I was making. Truefax: I was a (model) train nerd in high school. Let me tell you, railway geeks get all the chicks. I still have a couple Marklin trains in an upstairs attic.
  4. DJ Coy. Seriously. That's his name. Memphis Tennessee. 1983. German soldiers pose in a trench with their rifles and grenades in the Vosges Mountains, 1916. More NSFW than I'm willing to post, but clever use of an album cover.
  5. Sup Heads? My show is once again on the air, for the full two hours tonight. WAMH's new web streaming page is right here. My show's website is still around as well. Check the setlists page for my thoughts on last week's truncated show. >.<
  6. Two minutes at Bow Fiddle Rock, Portnockie, Scotland.
  7. DJ Al spins fat beats and his friends Lee Ann and Russel get funky. Houston Texas. 1982.
  8. DJ Tom looks a little mystified. Dallas Texas. 1982.
  9. Amputee Eagle gets to fly once more. Tangerine Dream, live inBordeaux, 1974. I hear the motorboating is good there.
  10. This is a ship-shipping ship, shipping shipping ships.
  11. I got some replacement earpads from lemonparty, they're soft and squishy. Recommended! Especially if you like directly-heated triodes.
  12. Early Lynda Carter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0aqPF7eR1Q
  13. Wounded Warrior cleans up trash on the Washington monument. Maybe when he's done, he can stick that prosthetic up the ass of a couple congresscritters. This is how Mike Dred practices in a hotel room.
  14. Things have been progressing well this evening (knock on wood.) Maybe it's because it has such a bad rap and I was expecting the worst, but thus far I don't hate Windows 8. It's certainly weird, and it will never replace what MacOS does in my life. As the front end of a Wintendo, it's fine. With the three stock case fans as well as the CPU and GPU fans, it's still pretty quiet. This Fractal case is beefy and seems to keep a fair amount of the noise inside. I had to hit Windows with hammer in order to get it to do a clean install, but that ended up being relatively painless. Right now I am installing a few games on Steam, to see how they run. I have to sort out getting Windows to like my USB audio interface, so I can get the mic working and yell at Colin use in-game chat.
