And I would suppose the front it the opening. The back side would be more sensitive to the wires going to the Black Gates.

Question to you Justin.... With those Black Gates setting up on top of the amp like they do, how do you get the top panel off to look inside? There must be wires connecting those Black Gates to a board on the bottom so is there some information that you can provide for me to do this safely? Anyone else? Thanks

Being an old guy you need to get an album.

Just about all of 'em..even one of the rare early ones. I don't know the names of them since I don't handle them. I just have them under Bubbles on my computer.

My wife for sure and I enjoy his music sometimes as well. Favorite is Home.

Don't worry I hardy ever even open my boxes let alone modify them.

Think maybe I could install a string of neon lights and give it some back lighting...maybe..make it look like tubes even.

Well it would appear that I am going to be a new owner of a KGSS amp, the very one that appears in the pictures I put on a previous thread. I am hopelessly now a Stax guy....

After several emails back and forth to the owner, we may have an agreement. This will go well with the SR-007MkII. Now what Stax and other stuff that I have that are no longer needed? Things to sell. I hope others don't wonder about my buying and selling a lot of stuff lately getting to this point in my Stax experience.

It sounds like this unit may not even be burn in yet with a little more than 100 hours total on it.

I really don't understand either of these posts. It is dangerous to purchase something where understanding is significantly lacking on my part. That is one reason why I went into the Stax world with the SRX-1 Mk3 first and I would appear to be moving up fairly quickly but I want to move wisely. At least attempt too.
