Thanks Dusty. I like the tune, reminds me of a lot of 80s jazz that I would listen to (yellowjackes, spyro gyra, etc.). Overall the balance for the amplified to the acoustic instruments was off to me. I could see the strings grinding away but could only hear a whisper of them.

Thanks Ric. Maybe I need to study some more and start at the beginning again. I have had many recordings over the years of his symphonies. Some I have liked more than others. The other day I listen to this (didn't post): And it was just not clicking for me at all. I even thought to myself, maybe Mahler is just not for me. But based on the video, it helps me think of things in a little different light. So, I will add some back into my list and explore some more.

So, I listened to this earlier. I really enjoyed it - had a very Laurel Canyon feel to it. So, I listened to the new Album. And didn't like it as much. It is good.
