  4. Hand Cannot Erase by Steven Wilson (2015) https://open.qobuz.com/album/gq9emxrfbaxdb Example: So a friend shared a list of top 25 audiophile albums. Most would be what you would expect, but there were a few I didn't know, so I gave them a listen. This is a good prog album. Audiophile? No. But very good. I have heard a few things from Wilson, I will be checking out a few more.
  5. Within my PLOWED whisky group we have an annual gathering called Ardbeggeddon (which some know about). It takes place in an undisclosed location. Many years ago this became known as "Dick Cheney's Secret Bunker" as a joke for posting purposes. I have proposed to the group that the location should be changed to "Dick Cheney's Crypt".
  6. 35 minute in and I don't even have a dishwasher (well... me, but still) But I will share with friends/family that have struggles with dishwasher performance.

  9. ICONOCLASTS by Anna von Hausswolff (2025) https://open.qobuz.com/album/vrn194ll38ouc Example: Released today (happy ween). I have seen a few posts from way back, but never made it to my queue. Good stuff, some complex compositions and mixes of genres and styles.
  10. Shostakovich: Symphony No. 5 in D Minor, Op. 47 by Howard Mitchell (1959) https://album.link/trxprptjq5zr7 Example: Noise floor is a little high (hiss), but it made up for by getting very loud and being a great performance.

  14. ^^ Very sad. She was brilliant in FT. ... and I got to know about her condition over a decade ago and happy that she made it this long. I use to watch her canal boat program all the time. I would just ask my partner, 'Old People on a Boat?' RIP Prunella...
