  1. The Ascension Sufjan Stevens 2020 Example:
  2. I don't play (once when I was a teen - so, 40 years ago). But, I did get caught up in watching Critical Role each week about 5 years ago. They are of course masters at character playing (making me laugh out loud, to sobbing). I have never really thought of diving into it these days. I am not really good at 'role playing', I have hard enough time playing the role of Mikey on a day to day bases. Cool that you have found a group.
  3. Still Wish You Were Here - A Tribute To Pink Floyd Various Artists 2021 Interesting album. Falls short mostly on the various vocal performances. Example: Welcome to the Machine · Todd Rundgren · Rick Wakeman · Tony Levin
  4. Cheers Kimi. He has always been a driver I liked (followed him in WRC as well). And the interviews, ah the interviews. I would laugh out loud at the super monotone, no pause for sentence structure, zero emotion responses. I am happy that he was a world champion at least once (should have been more).
  5. She is Serious about Schumann and Brahms Schumann: Kreisleriana - Brahms: Two Rhapsodies, Seven Fantasies Elena Fischer-Dieskau 2021 Example:
  6. Black Book BLKBOK 2021 Lovely piano music. Example:
  7. He is almost 90 - so I gave him a break for not coming out of retirement. But it does have Sting and Tina Fey.

  9. Philip Glass: Akhnaten (Metropolitan Opera) Philip Glass 2021 14 TRACKS (2:17:41) Trailer - but I listened to recording:
  10. ARTEMIS ARTEMIS 2020 Thanks to Ric. Overall a really good album. Example: And from Rob: Im Abendrot: Songs by Wagner, Pfitzner, Strauss Matthias Goerne, Seong-Jin Cho 2021 Well done: Example:
  11. Interesting. Nostalgia band for sure. Including some ELO "Xanadu", some Genesis, an R&B song that I know, but could not place. I actually got distracted most of the time with, hey that sounds like <enter song or band>. What is old is new again, time after time...... {good bass player though} Edit: -- I found it, Mornin' by Al Jarreau
  12. Charade Henry Mancini 1963 Opening:
  13. Top Percussion Tito Puente 1957 Example:
  14. Just watching Tim Henson do Tim Henson things for 8+ minutes. (btw - lead player for Polyphia)
  15. ah canadians... also, I am not sure why YouTube recommended this to me.
  16. I am a big Spock's Beard fan from back in the day when it was fronted by Neal. I didn't follow him into his solo work (well I got the first album). It went too Christian for me. I had not heard of the Neal Mores Band project. I will add it to my list. thx
  17. Variations on a Melancholy Theme Brad Mehldau, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra 2021 The Theme:
  18. Ravel: Daphnis et Chloé, M. 57 Charles Munch 1955 (It does suffer a little bit for not being gapless on tidal) Example:
  19. Starting Over Chris Stapleton 2020 Hard to pick one example - a quality album:
  20. Mingus At Carnegie Hall (Deluxe Edition) [2021 Remaster] [Live] Charles Mingus 1974 Example:
  21. Winter's End Stephan Micus 2021 A nice diverse headphone listen - Example:
  22. Standard Gonz Jerry Bergonzi, The Modern Jazz Trio 2021 Example:
  23. "Missing You" is still a classic track from John. Straight Gonz Jerry Bergonzi, The Modern Jazz Trio 2021 Example:
  24. Entre Mar y Palmeras (Live) Juan Luis Guerra 2021 Example:
