Joanne and I enjoyed the series. Plenty of Guy Ritchie "Colour". The Locations and outfits add a lot to the experience. Be on the look out for the effortless "septic" comment from Ray Winstone's character. I can explain it later if you like.

Happy Birthday Al, wishing you a safe ( Non Boeing?) aurally uneventful flight home. oh, and I'll just leave this here. "Al is a man. Al has a beard. Al likes beer. Al likes Pliny the younger. Al likes cocktails. Al is working his way through the 100 cocktails of the New Anvil List. Al is a headphone enthusiast. Al is an audophile. Al likes woodworking. Al is a retired lawyer. Al has been making maple syrup. Al is also known as Voltron, Defender of the universe. Generate a Photorealistic Picture of Al enjoying his birthday, *for entertainment purposes only."

Shouldn't that be "aft", given the nautical setting. And if the sailors were dismissed for being naughty, would they be (dishonorably) discharged Sea Men?

Can't think why you chose this, Steve. https://omg.blog/omg-his-butt-clive-owen-in-series-monsieur-spade/ We enjoyed the series, (for the story, you understand)

Tonight No bananas were harmed in the making of this dish (as technically, they tend to be a garnish/side instead of an ingredient, with curries) as this was a turkey chili.

(Sunday) Joanne's Australian nephew, who is currently based in New York, was flying into SFO to work with a client in San Jose as part of an ongoing project, and asked if it was possible we could meet up. So we decided to make a day/ afternoon of it and see what was worth seeing on the peninsula before meeting him. Who knew there was a 98 room beaux arts mansion/chateau in Hillsborough? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carolands https://carolands.org/ https://www.sfgate.com/sfhistory/article/california-gilded-age-mansion-carolands-17441886.php Or that there is a water temple just off I-280 https://sfpuc.org/learning/come-visit/pulgas-water-temple https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulgas_Water_Temple https://www.sfgate.com/local/article/Pulgas-Water-Temple-Hetch-Hetchy-water-Crystal-14992239.php Then a bit of culture, art and history in Stanford University. Makes you think, doesn't it? More sights / (steampunk?) architecture at Stanford. It's amazing what being one of the big four robber barons will get you! And then on to meet up with Joanne's nephew @ http://buckswoodside.com/ They have a virtual tour of all their paraphanalia! https://matterport.com/discover/space/k6RtWhrenma Turns out Joanne's nephew's client is small $2T company some of you may have heard of. Their offices look nice. The project is due to last a couple of years, so we may be seeing more of Joanne's nephew in the future!
