  1. Simple solution to that; someone put it up on Sendspace or MegaUpload, as opposed to a torrent. If no one else does, I will do so.
  2. Yeah. Another idiot moment of mine. Plus I tend to make posts quick during the day if its not during lunch break
  3. ah. In that case, I take back the part about not arguing
  4. The high rez is blu ray. I dont know of any 'audiophile' blu ray players, so I dont know how easy it will be to hear properly. I guess if you can drag the files on a computer with a BR drive, then some how burn your own DVD A it would work, but that is assuming the tracks are drag and drop capable, as opposed to ripping.
  5. I don't fully grasp this; how do young people opting out increase the total number of insured people? Are you saying that more people decide to get insured after the rates increase? Not arguing with you, I just dont quite get what your saying. (points to avatar's sig)
  6. I agree. I want to add 2 words: 1. FIMA 2. Superdome
  7. I think I was probably hip deep in F Zero, Street Fighter 2, Zelda and Super Mario World for Super Nintendo at the time.
  8. It sounds like thats the case. Just as long as there is a lossless version, I am happy. Optimally, I'd also like the option for physical media to remain, but the lossless is whats most important.
  9. there is a listen pop-up box with at least some of the music for your browser
  10. I cant even imagine how much awesomeness will be packed in this release. Instrumental NIN. I mean, does it get any better?
  11. Happy birthday. You're in good company:
  12. Here is a rundown: Free mp3 download of the first 9 tracks $5 for your download choice of DRM free FLAC or ALAC (or mp3) $10 for a 2 CD digipack shipped April 8, with a link to download said lossless formats above then some more esoteric options, including a $75 package with high rez files on a Blu Ray disc I personally opted for the CD, just because. I didnt have enough time to download and put on my iphone before leaving for work though Here is what the DL page looks like
  13. Jebus, how do I not hear about these things sooner? Of course I am buying

  15. I think Mick Jagger would argue otherwise
  16. neato. I used to have a scorpion in middle school
  17. I went white water rafting once. Thats about as far as I go
  18. I didn't realize Batsy was made from polycarbonate
  19. Assuming we are still talking about health care, I'd argue it is not 'giving' it to the rich; it was created from they're taxes. Our social security is set up to pay out to you a certain percentage, based on how much you earned: if you put more money into social security than the next guy, its only fair you get that back. I really think you have a major issue with class envy or something. That the idea that a wealthy person should get to keep their money is inherently greedy. In our country, we have a little thing called capitalism, and people are (hopefully) encouraged to work for what they want. I believe those who work hard deserve what they earned. I believe sick people have little to do with that money. I believe that, while some financial aid is necessary, it must be kept reasonable and fair.
  20. I really think this is being dismissive of the idea of balance, that I have now mentioned twice. It is comfortable and easier for you to interpret any attempt of salvaging money as greedy, than it is to admit that maybe, just maybe the tax payer should have some say in where they're money goes. An argument cant be made based on fact, so attack that person morally and try and cause discomfort. And again, I never said I had no obligation, it is all about balance. I absolutely believe everyone should be able to get coverage; its how they get it that is the problem. There is no ill will towards those less fortunate. And they are not on their own, there are charities and organizations that are already in place, long before anyone began talking about universal health care. Both parties have a responsibility to at least attempt to solve problems within an existing budget, before raising taxes, in my opinion. Any idiot can stamp a form to raise the rates; its coming up with a solution without introducing new increases that is one of their chief responsibilities.
