  1. Here is what the wave form sections look like in Wavlab lite, for anyone interested. In this case, its The Double Up and Hey Chico, from Lee Morgan's Charisma album [blue Note RVG 24 Edition] Theres some nice breathing room in there
  2. Its a long story, but I've got 2 picos on the way, though I don't know how long the queue is. I'll probably use one in the office, and one in a bedroom rig, when I get an apartment in the next few months
  3. I can tell everyone from personal experience: dont bother getting anything for an ipod mini. Horrid sounding player.
  4. Computer Audiophile: http://www.computeraudiophile.com/node/126 I snagged em from here originally. I didn't see any specifics.
  5. I think this is from the 80's, but dont take that as gospel. I know its a concert video, not a music video, but Im puttin it here anyway.
  6. One more small update. I've also bought some of the hoffman Fantasy 45 vinyl: Blakey's Big Beat was backordered So here is the Fantasy 45 RPM Hoffman mastered stuff awaiting digitization:
  7. If I ever get a turn table, I may get this too. http://www.apogeedigital.com/products/ad16x.php
  8. lol Im not telling my folks how much these cost; they'd shit a turkey dinner if they found out
  9. Pictures for anyone interested. Taken by Acoustic Sounds. I'm planning to buy a 'few' more in a few weeks, if they remain available. I figure this will get me started with a jazz collection.
  10. I cant wait to get mine for the office and ditch the shitty ipod. [pico that is ]
  11. 2007 saw the transition from the Emu 0404 USB to the Bel Canto Dac3. Other stuff came and went, but thats pretty much all worth noting. I'll get the amp I bought in 2007 shipped in 2008. Oh and my music collection doubled in size from ~4200 files to +8600. Future plans include adding a pair of L3000s and possibly a high end Grado or top tier Allesandro. And balanced interconnects, but not headphones. Last but least, loads and loads and loads and loads of music.
  12. You were banned because you were talking about religion. When I sell my tomahawk over there (which I bought as a placeholder since I had no amp at the time) I am listing it as a Cmoy, just for shits and giggles. I'll do that when I get my Ear HP4 around the 2nd week of January.
  13. awwww group hug tks guys. ....And happy B Day Reks
  14. Im hoping my last upgrade for the Senns. I need to focus on music for a while now. Though I do need better interconnects. But I hate spending money on those. Of course I'll be running a PICO at the office, for desk space. (And a 2nd pair of Senns if I get tired of my Dennon 2000s; they feel a little heavy and awkward on my skull)
  15. My wallet is in tears, lol. But I currently live w/ my parents, so my discretionary money is at an all time high. I tried to avoid getting any of the releases also offered on the limited 45s by Fantasy or Music Matters, as they are surely better, but I made a few exceptions. I'm waiting to see if I did really get what I bought; I checked the selections I bought again on their page and they still appear in stock (?) Hopefully nobody beat me to the punch. I actually would have gladly bought more, had I not just bought an Ear HP4 from renderson on Headfi And after I rip em....there's always Ebay
