  1. Who doesn't like a day of not being judged for everything you do.
  2. Seriously, the plastic is toxic and will kill you, so might its contents.
  3. Just buy a glidelock bracelet and throw it on the GMT. The bracelets only about $2500 The DSSD glidelock implementation is even better than the sub. It doesn't do the on-the-fly adjustment like the spring-loaded Pelagos, but it should hold up much better in the long term.
  4. Seems like it will be pretty awesome. Especially during the summer, going from outdoor to indoor activities. Most of my watches end up being a bit too tight or too loose depending on the season/activity. Looking forward to this.
  5. Went ahead and picked up a no-date sub for myself. Turning 32 in a few days - so happy birthday to me.
  6. Jeff - The Sea-Dweller 4000 (116600) would be perfect for you to try out. Mate black dial, date with no cyclopes, etc. I still think I would just go with the updated Tudor Pelagos, when available.
  7. I wonder if that outlook has changed any with the success of their NEX lineup.
  8. ^ Should be banned everywhere.
  9. RX100 MK II then. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/801186443-USE/sony_dscrx100m2_b_cyber_shot_dsc_rx100_ii_digital.html
  10. The RX100 i/ii/iii should do just fine, and if you aren't in the front row, RX10 like Jeff suggested.
  11. We got about 4-5" here in NJ yesterday. I finally had a driveway again, but nooo, so much for spring.
  12. ^^ I am not Canadian, but I still approve of this.
  13. Now I just need bigger wrists.
  14. $275 more for an in-house movement is by no means much... only about 3% over current inflation. http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/the-new-tudor-pelagos-now-with-in-house-movement
  15. ^ Still Reks to me
  16. Thankfully Tudor hasn't been following Rolex all too closely. The value of the USD vs Euro is a big enough issue from a pricing standpoint, at the moment.
  17. I wouldn't expect the price to change much, if any. Their new movement is looking very spartan and unfinished. They were obviously going for a price-point with the lack of decoration.
  18. Looks like the Pelagos will also be available in blue and the line will be updated to use their new in-house MT5612 movement. http://www.tudorwatch.com/#/en/pelagos/introduction/
  19. Enjoy. The JLC is a great fitting unobtrusive piece.

Apparently he did punch a producer. http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/entertainment/news/a25239/clarkson-punched-producer-top-gear-season-22-cancelled/

    Nooooo! http://jalopnik.com/report-jeremy-clarkson-suspended-from-top-gear-show-w-1690546352
  22. I'll stick with my A. Lange and FP Journe thanks
  23. The Pelagos is excellent. Unfortunately too big for me. They can be had for $2900-$3100 pretty regularly on the used market. I would take one over a SeaDweller any day. Also, the lume is the best I have seen. The BBB is a great beater watch with an ETA movement that any competent shop can and will be able to service for a lifetime. I would skip the bracelet version and go with the NATO option - nice looking combo.
  24. That is, should be 18-20. I would go with a nice Patek Nautilus before those.
  25. And why didn't you?
