  1. Ours had a ton of lint the first few washes. I wouldn't be too concerned. I believe the only warning I saw with regards to heat was that over drying could cause the protector to lose some body.
  2. Our dryer has a dampness level setting that works quite well. You could likely get away with drying it until it is just a little damp and air drying until dry.
  3. ... with any luck, in the next few days, we will see how Elsa sounds through RAAL tweeters and Seas woofers. Will explore the sub thing if necessary. The upscale 2.1 setup would have been the perfect choice if I didn't already have a receiver. It just might be time to upgrade my decade old Klipsch 2.1 PC setup anyway.
  4. More low end would be good... I have space for a smaller sub if need be too.
  5. iPad in other room becomes fight to the death with her brother over who gets to hold it.
  6. Title pretty much says it all...aside from also wanting to be able to listen to the Frozen soundtrack for the billionth time. They will need to be bookshelf with a footprint no larger than 12" w x 14" d. I am open to suggestions... going back in time to prevent Frozen from ever happening would be most preferable. But, a decent alternative might be some Ascend Sierra 2's. Does Beats make speakers yet?
  7. Best practice would be to periodically clone a drive to minimize downtime from failure and to also, at the same time, be backing up folder's with files you care to save to another drive. The Samsung clone software that came with a drive I recently got worked perfectly fine for this purpose. Microsoft SyncToy works great for backing up folders - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=15155
  8. ^ If you have a MAC, those are getting pulled into Photos already... no need to really backup everything in that manor. You can now get 50GB for $0.99mo up from the 20GB it previously was which isn't horrible. Google Photos also does an excellent job of backing up images with unlimited storage space...their search is scary too.
  9. duh, get an Android. Stupid Apple.
  10. We use this - http://www.flobeds.com/products/2140QU The wool is nice as it sleeps cooler and does a good job wicking away moisture. Awesome too since its washer/dryer safe. With a little one or two ending up in our bed most nights a protector was necessary... Well cheaper than replacing the entire mattress cover.
  11. I will add a few. http://www.alencorp.com/collections/alen-air-purifiers/products/alen-breathesmart-fit50-hepa-air-purifierand http://austinair.com/products/ We have an Austin Air Bedroom in each of our bedrooms and a Standard in our basement.
  12. This being head-case, I love my steelcase gesture and highly recommend it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. MF10OFF will save you additional $10. Used it the other day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I recommend building your own. These guys have great prices on DIY natural latex and organic covers (king size would run you about $1,400). Natural latex is good stuff for a mattress because it's dust mite, mildew, and mold resistant. http://sleeponlatex.com/ Memory foam really isn't the greatest as it tends to retain heat and is not as "clean" as natural latex... Something that's important when you are sticking your face in it for 8hrs a day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Then I would have two skillets of curly bacon... I fail to see how this would help
  16. 10 is great for users with multiple displays. Can finally get a task bar on every screen which only shows the windows open on the screen... much like you can with OSX if you have used that. I love the flat design trend of everything. I hate distractions and animation. I had no issues updating... took about 45min, most of which was spent with the system coping files over and not the actual update it self.
  17. Start > Control Panel > User Accounts. See what it is logged into and if that is the account he normally uses. Could well be a corrupted profile. The below link will potentially help you fix it if is in fact the issue - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix-corrupted-user-profile#1TC=windows-7
  18. But coil mattresses are great antennas and will kill you with radiation
  19. ^ they help you sleep much more soundly.
  20. Enjoy your VOCs and other chemicals
  21. It is because the stupid iPhone can only capture 4:3 photos. Video mode is cropping the image to get the 16:9 (1080p) image.. hence the "zoom" and narrower FOV. If you were able to set photos to capture at 16:9 then changed over to video, you would see no notable change. Hope you enjoyed my lovely MS Paint image.
  22. Quality didn't sound great to me in my limited listening. Granted it was with a set of noise canceling Bose IEMs.
  23. Personally, I'll never do a watch without box and papers... No specific reason, just part of the province for me.
  24. So, stop being poor is the correct answer?
  25. One of my lovely little children flushed a cup that got caught between the toilet base and floor drain... Had to pull the toilet, the awesome part was that the previous owners had cemented the toilet to the floor. So, in removing the toilet it removed part of the floor. I now have a new floor and working toilet
