Trying to figure out the live Music venues in Chicago. I got tickets to The Jayhawks in Lincoln Hall and then some big shows Cure, Bob Dylan/Mavis Staples in some big venues.
  7. Yeah the Dinosaur up there is much better than the one in NYC. Burlington has been pretty great the times I have visited. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So what is the consensus for the go to radar detector these days? Thinking about Escort Max 2 or 360 at this point.

The latest Motor Trend seems to think the ST is the more fun than the RS. RS is good for the track but bad for everything else according to the review.

I'd get a STi for winter driving.

  12. Outside of remembering which side of the car to get into, it is really not that difficult, if you have an automatic. Driving. I found driving a LHD car on the wrong side of the road in St. Thomas the following week to be more difficult for some reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I guess you need to teach the kids to tuck and roll so you can do drive-by daycare drop-off. Solves the idiot parallel parking by crashing problem.
  14. They loved it, because it is pretty fantastic, but they had doubts due to the rock music and the fact a rock band is filming a music video in the place as we eat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. It all started yesterday when, minutes after the moving truck pulled away, I get an email telling me that they will need to split my stuff up as they do not have room in the cross country truck. They will deliver what they determine to be necessities by Wednesday but everything else will come at a later, unknown date. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Started the move today. Massive cluster. Started with having to install the Thule Sidearm bike carrier without some tools as they were all packed so we tried to eye the 16" set back of the front arm. Bad idea as the bike tried to climb out of the track and jump off the roof on the highway as it was not placed correctly. That slowed us down as I ended up having to use moving tape to hold the bike in the track. Managed to make it into the mountains before Pittsburgh and hit a freaking blizzard with the S4 on Pilot Super Sport tires and two bikes on the roof of the Subaru. Clusterfuck all the way around. Are you trying to tell me it was not "driving by bouncing of walls and other cars"? I am not sure I can believe that.

The GTI seats are very comfortable. The bottom bolsters on the ST are easily 3-4 inches more narrow than the GTI.

I was. Definitely faster than the XT. Not sure what the Car and Driver drivers were doing to get matching 0-60 times. Tech seemed nice but those seats were torture devices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There were a few ST there. One, just to the side of the three Rs had a huge intercooler so I assume it was tuned like you were mentioning. There were 9 Golf Rs there. I guess they are just all too common now.

I am shopping insurance now for the new place. I am getting a price from my current vendor of almost $1,000 every six months for the cars while Geico comes in at $542 for the same coverage. Is Geico really terrible coverage or is State Farm just a rip off?
  25. That looks seriously good.
