My plastic shovel has worked very well. Taking a shoveling break now but I think I probably have about 9 hours in today. The lady across the street is due any minute so we are trying to clean out enough so at least someone can get out.

Scraped out a BBQ path by starting downstairs and working my way up. Probably had about 3 more inches in the hour since I did that.

What they are not telling you is that by cleaning up they mean creating an ice wall directly behind your bumper that you have no way of getting through.

I am thinking I might have some kinks to work out of my emergency plan to use the grills for cooking in a power outage.

Did a bit of shoveling and brushed off the Subaru. Now 5 minutes later it looks like I never even stepped outside. That should be a good 3 extra seconds of shoveling you get with that handy work.

Wind is supposed to get here tomorrow morning I think. Managed to go get emergency supplies before the snow. The only milk in the store was dark chocolate almond milk, but I did get several bottles of wine so I should be good.

Well based upon the beyond comprehension mess caused by 1 inch of snow last night, I am predicting DC explodes when 3 feet of snow drops on us Friday-Saturday.

Mine does that all the time and when I arrive at the page it is an old page from months ago that I can refresh and be signed into the modern page. I lazily just refresh every time for a while but it usually gets too annoying and I go delete cookies and it gets back to normal for a while.
