  1. I'm pretty sure you can't move phones between sprint and verizon, even unlocked. I think it boils down to both of them being unwilling to do it.
  2. as of today, yah, I have a 1:1 granny gear.
  3. I'm still happier with the original geometry.
  4. I just had my ultegra compact crank installed, and put my selle anatomica titanica X saddle on. Haven't ridden it yet
  5. Apple seems to do a good job at having the compelling upgrade be every 2 years
  6. nate, he's looking for offers now
  7. if apple makes it so there's a "per fingerprint" configuration for the 5S, that'd be a spectacular feature. I'd want that on the ipad more than the phone, but even on a phone it's a game changer.
  8. I still wish they'd stuck with the iphone 4 form factor. That said, we have at least 1 of almost every device size apple sells in my house. 2 iphones, 1 ipad mini, multiple full sized iphones, an 11" macbook air, a 13" macbook air, a 13" macbook pro, and a couple of imacs. (big family, with 4 school aged kids and 2 adults) I tend to prefer each device be best at it's primary use, and compromise on everything else, and for my phone, that means fits easily in a pocket and is easily usable 1 handed.
  9. I think I'm going to be buying either 2 iphone 4Ss or 2 nexus 4s for my kids, and an iphone 5s for me in the next month. My wife will keep using her existing 4s. We'll be switching to tmobile.

sony nex series cameras are light and work well as camcorders. Plus, take good stills, and have interchangeable lenses.

  16. guess with a $500 bike. With a $5000 bike, get measured
  17. I fit a 52 on the caad9 cx frame, and 56 is slightly small on the caad9 road frame. So there are obviously a lot of variables.

  20. Find a shop that can do a retul fit or something similar.
  21. I originally pm'd about a different one and didn't get it, then I did get that one.
  22. After losing my vintage red turbomatic somehow this morning, I am in the market for a new saddle (the cutter I was trying out REALLY doesn't work for me). So I've PM'd someone on paceline who is selling a sella anatomica. And yah, I'll do a couple of days of light work on the stationary bike at the gym this week. Basically, I spent nearly 2 hrs at "max exertion" (aka over 170bpm), and so the watch thinks I should now recover from that in order to get the most improvement for my effort.
  23. duct tape comes in red. Consider the boat christened
