  3. but you'll spend that 15 minutes on the crapper.
  4. I just picked up an outin nano espresso maker and fino grinder. Total cost under $300. Battery powered, and comparable in size to an aero press and hand grinder. makes pretty darn good espresso from my beans. Good crema, good body.
  5. A quick chicken dish to avoid eating out. Turned out pretty good.
  6. If you get pops and rustles when talking without the foam then use it. Otherwise you don’t need it. But they don’t hurt spoken voice really anyway. as to the position, just experiment and find what sounds best to you. what microphone is that?
  7. People at 18 can have their minds changed. Way more so than people at 50. It may not be something you can do, but there is at least hope something will click.
  8. This one is only 5 lbs so you could still win the measuring contest
  9. Damn
  10. It’s definitely a thing here. A good bark on a bologna chub then pan fry a 1” thick slice makes for a tasty sandwich.

Sorry I missed this before. Deity will be releasing an aes capable recorder soon-ish. It’s the PR4. Otherwise I’d probably get a tascam fr2 or zoom f3 for 2 channel.
  16. ok, this is head case :), what do you mean by inexpensive? I found it almost impossible to motivate myself to ride a purely mechanical trailer. Just got bored. I would get any trainer that would connect to zwift, and would read https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2020/11/trainer-recommendations-winter.html to get an idea about what the options are.
  17. I do a lot of live concert recording at 96/32 or 192/32, and so I do playback at that, but as you say, the primary advantage is hi res sources are likely better mastered. 48/16 has plenty of dynamic range and resolution for most recordings.
  18. Took the new bike out for a first ride today. My new shoes (five ten) need to have the release adjusted, because when I stopped, I fell over because my left foot wouldn't let go. I need to adjust the front brake, it's grabbing intermittently. It could use some minor fit adjustments, but over all, I'm pretty happy with the fit, I got the right size. The big issue is I haven't ridden enough to make a difference since I met my wife in late 2020, so I'm in AWFUL shape. I was gassed after less than a mile. Kayaking isn't a particularly aerobic exercise. I'm gonna set up my indoor setup with my old bike and see if I can get slightly less out of shape before trying anything not mostly flat outside again.
  19. they're "green beige" and "green grey"
  20. I meant the wh1000s sorry.
  21. Whatever the current Sony wf1000 series headphones is these days.
  22. colnago c50 with super record 11 and shamal ultra wheels. It’s officially the riders fault when I can’t go up hill or fast.
  23. As long as you’re participating and not just spamming you’re good
  24. Zwift supports motorcycles?
