DC/Baltimore Regional Meet, August 2nd
So, I'm setting the date at August 2. Now to pick a location. BWI/Arundel Mills Residence Inn, a party room in Rockville, somewhere else? How many people are coming? How many would want a hotel room?

Woah! What's up with the quick thread locks lately?
This isn't the anti-headfi. So a thread got closed, it wasn't deleted or hidden. No one was banned. It was closed to new posts. No one would be prevented from starting another thread just like it. But do it enough times, and you'd get labelled an asshat, which is the one rule violation that CAN get people banned.

Your point is?

moderation doesn't happen because something is offensive. It happens when one of the moderators decides something should be different. Period. End of story. See any advertising? Did you pay a membership fee? Have you contributed anything to make us give a shit what you want or why? If not, shut your cake hole, quit whining, and either participate or not.

Fine, fuck off? We're not here to please you, we're here to please us.

It's just that threads like that are magnets for the whining about headfi, and we're trying to move beyond that

Apogee Duet Kicks Ass
Neither of those is what you want. Those are 1/4" stereo to 2 rcas. You need 1/4" mono to rca

How do you tag classical music?
I just tag them all with the name of the piece, no subdivisions

Best method for I to V?
It's still in progress, and I haven't directly compared.

Favorite Music Lyrics (Read the Fucking Rules You Damn Philistines)
She's so beautifully broken You can barely see the flaw Especially from a distance Which is always how I fall Why do I fall for the dangerous ones The ones that never learned to let go And why do I lie to myself And pretend that I can break her When she's already been so Beautifully broken

Monster's a great girls' bike. The problem I have with ducks is they're made for italians. People WAY shorter than I am. The triumphs have a better geometry for big peoples The daytona has always been a favorite of mine. I'm really interested in the buells, too. They seem like they're optimized for real world riding, rather than superbike racing. And the R6 is the single scariest bike I've ever ridden. WAY too much power to weight.
