The grado hf1s and 225s sound pretty good directly out of the duet, as does the senn hd600. My Altec Lansing iM616s don't sound particularly good out of the duet. Do my headphones sound better out of my balanced m3 than out of the duet? Of course. But the duet is fine. That said, if you've got $500 to spend, I'd probably get a single ended m3 or millett max and whichever headphone you prefer (senn or grado). You should be able to pull that off. Or just get both headphones, and use the duet out.

It's simpler than that. In order to get their products in stores outside of the US, grado has to grant some level of exclusivity to distributors. Then the distributors set their own prices.

SR225s are my favorite "value" headphone. But that's based on used pricing ($150ish per pair). They sell for $200ish new. They're ok for low level listening. Someone else will have to answer the retail questions.

Yup. I wouldn't own an air as an only computer. However, air + mini + kvm is a great idea, if light is a benefit to you. Given my usage of my macbook, I could easily replace it with the air.

HAH Ok, yes. Time Capsule is Airport Extreme with a built in drive. USB for printers and hard drives. Don't believe it supports optical drives. Lots of people make wireless printers, I like my brother MFC-820CW (the w is for wireless). I hang a laserjet 5 off my airport express and have the brother wireless. I use apple bluetooth keyboard and mighty mouse, and like them a lot. I like the new chicklet keyboards too, but my bluetooth keyboard is the old one. I believe you can use the time capsule both for nas storage and backups, but I have the extreme, not the time capsule.

I've owned the 225, hf1, hp1, rs1, and ps1, and the only one I kept was the hf1...
