  1. at that other forum you have to have 50 posts before you sell shit. Here we just abuse ignorant asshats.
  2. maybe you should have read first insteadof jumping straight to posting your ad?
  3. I like to think that more honest discussion about gear, and d more importantly, music happens here than across the street. Yah, we talk a lot of trash, but we also give honest opinions. Crap designed to impress newbies doesnt often fly here. Neither does hype. Signal to noise here is VERY high, even with the post jacking and abuse.
  4. The point is that you showed up and d posted your forsale bs and your typical crap without spending any time finding out what this place is and what flies here. And on top of it vragged about your headfi post count like it was a badge of honor. We do all know you from there. You're the flaming asshat who brags about his spending in his fucking sig and who buys the gaudiest shit on the market regardless of how it sounds. So you got abused. Guess what? It's the internet, sorry about your thin skin. No one will protect you here.
  5. Best thread on head-case, ftw. I'm not sure how you found this place, Todd, but perhaps you'd get less abuse if you didn't just show up to sell stuff? Naw, that probably wouldn't change anything. Carry on. I will give you a hint: reporting posts is more likely to get you mocked than get any result you'd like.
  6. AppleTv then. I actually use a mac mini for that job. But the SMC lets you use a remote? I didn't realize.
  7. Where in pa?
  8. Seems like if you already have a mac, an airport express is a better choice
  9. my kids music my wife motorcycles cigars beer
  10. But there's also the "wife avoidance factor"
  11. I'll give the opus as good a listen as I can at the dc meet, compared to my (hopefully by then sigma powered) apogee. If I like it, I really might want to do that
  12. I need to figure out a way to squeeze an opus dac and an airport express into my m3
  13. a 91 bmw 535i with 294k miles. Bought it on ebay, then chipped it. It's a rocket I have a higher ratio limited slip differential on the way next. It's a blast. And I'd bet I could get up to top speed on 27, if I were more manly. But 105 is probably fast enough for now.
  14. At midnight, it's no problem But I really topped out at 105. But my car will DO 150, which is the point.
  15. Alpine CDA-9851 w/ sirius connect, so I can listen to the grateful dead channel at 150mph.
  16. 3.91 limited slip differential from a 735 to put into my 535. Door lock actuators to go into the same 535.
  17. Torx is the best choice, honestly. Least likely to strip. Hex next, philips last. And really, come on, more screws isn't to keep people out, it's to hold things together better. You'd be bitching that he put it together in a shoddy manner if he used fewer.
  18. Not to mention a 2mm allen wrench is hardly a rare tool.
  19. google is your friend
  20. I'd recommend checking out the vizio sets at costco etc too. I bought 2 vizio 37" displays this spring (during a woot off), and couldn't be happier.

That's not what your signature says Nan. Besides, when I was in high school, I had to walk to school each day, both ways, in the snow, up hill. And I was happy with my sony earbuds that came with my cassette walkman.
  23. ECU for my E34
  24. Nate, I agree. That's why we have 3 laptops and a mac mini . The kids have a dell desktop I bought for them 3 years ago, but when the time comes, it'll be macbooks for them too.
  25. Did you include things like firewire and comparable video boards, dvd burner, etc?
