Happy Birthday Steve!

Happy Birthday!

I approve of breakfast wine, needless to say ...

Speaking of WAT!? I enjoyed this gem which landed in my inbox today in regards to another ephemeral "upgrade" -- in this case a firmware revision for a popular DAC. Emphasis mine:

Happy Birthday! It's been too long!

Holy smokes. That would have driven me insane by now. Hand in there MA crew! Edit: MasNowsNowsNowsNowsNowsNowsetts.

Lloyd Cole -- Music In A Foreign Language

^^^ Logic, bitches!

Things Are Really Great Here, Sort Of...

The Waterboys -- Modern Blues. It's a grower.

Toooo loooong. Same idea in a form factor that mostly just adds to the phone's thickness (a la JuicePack) would be a massive home run. Work with Jony, not against him!

That is hard core.

Andrew Bird -- Armchair Apocrypha I wanted more of this, not a fucking country album.

Happy Birthday Jeff!

RIP Joe. May your guitars always sound crunchy!

Er, and I'm listening to: Orange Juice -- Rip It Up.

Post Fisherman's Blues, I just go and listen to World Party. As a four album stretch though, I think The Waterboys, A Pagan Place, This Is The Sea and Fisherman's Blues stand up there with just about anything. After that it's just flashes and glimmers of the old magic. I like "Beautiful Now" off Modern Blues.

Punch Brothers -- The Phosphorescent Blues

OK, I'm going to start emailing Jay-Z every time TIDAL tells me my fucking session has expired and I need to log in again, while driving. Actually, the way to use this bitch is to decide what you want to listen to for the next day/week, download it all overnight on wifi and then run in offline mode while out and about. That works great.

Boooooooooo!!!!

Indeed! Please don't ever stop ...

I think this guy does a really thorough job of walking through a good process. Changed my mind on a couple of things for sure. The other three parts should be in the YouTube sidebar.
