I'm guessing that Todd clamped down on the edit window. Although less than 1min seems rather short.
P.s. I added a smiley for you, who knows if it's the right one.
Right now I'm thinking one kid will be plenty. She's been working mom and dad overtime the last few days and I'm totally spent.
In beta22 news, without the addition of some sort of gain adjustment I'd personally go with a gain of ~6 or so and make sure that whatever pot I used had good adjustment (more than 24 steps).
Yes, I have. And while I can't make any meaningful sonic comparison I can say that I greatly prefer working with the Canare. The anti-cables need to be the exact length you need or they require annoyingly precise coiling to make them look decent and still have a tendency to resemble a spring when coiled.
Indra,
How long a cable do you need to go directly from the Duet to your stereo? 1m or more?
I'd be willing to entertain a trade of cables for a picture (not of her you sickos, one of the images off of her site).
My issue with Thunderbird is that once you start using it you can't go back to anything else. The database file that they use cannot be converted back to use Outlook again. I was going to switch back to Outlook earlier this year and discovered the transfer incompatibility.
When you say starquad do you mean the IC wire or did you use the 4S11 speaker wire which is technically also a starquad type cable. I've use cables built using 4S11 and don't find them muddy at all. But I've got a pretty pedestrian speaker rig so maybe my gear isn't resolving enough.
Hmmmm... I'm not completely enamored with it. I don't like the downloads section as much and also the previous links that pop up from the address bar almost show too much information now. I'm a simpleton, what can I say?
Devices like that are also really handy for when your OS shits the bed like Vista did for me last week. I was able to simply pull the HD from my laptop, plug it into the external USB adapter that I have (thanks to tkam for pointing me to those a long ways back) and recover all of the data from the drive. It would have been a very bad day if I didn't have that adapter...
Heh, I hope to get back to building a little in the not too distant future but my retirement status will probably stay in place permanently. Gone are the days when I could sit down stairs for 4hrs at a time and solder away while listening to tunes.
I'm beginning to think that it'd be a very good idea to develop a small pcb that allowed for 3 position gain switch using voltage dividers for amps like this.
I think in the world of ultra-high resolution displays that a little extra size on a commonly used button probably isn't a bad thing. I don't find it intrusive, just obvious.
Anyone know if this most recent version supports anything like gestures?
