  4. I think those of us who have posted issues are the exception, not the rule. Despite the problems I've had, and I suspect I've sent mine back more than most, I would buy them again in a heart beat.
  5. Mine came back a week to the day. The must have re-cased both as the fit is a bit more snug then before, which is an improvement over the last pair. Now I just wait for my super duper cable from whiplash, which should be here in a couple of days.

  11. Haven't had beef tongue in a while. I think we may be in Tallahassee in early September I'm making a smoked brisket and another brisket I'm making in the oven. Kind of a shoot out to decide what kind to make for Rosh Hashanah. Pics later.
  12. I have dealt with one man operations where one person does it all and take that into consideration when I deal with such a business. This was a different situation and likely my situation was the exception and not the rule. Despite being pissed off I give them credit for stepping up to the plate and making it right.

  15. The person that responded was the owner of the company and said he didn't know the details of what happened. It is Saturday after all.
  16. Amazingly, I just received a response to my last email apologizing and offering me a fair deal on a used Amarra 4, which I told him is all I wanted in the first place. So in the end it has worked out, they stepped up to the plate and I appreciate that.
  17. I considered that, which is why I called at least 4 times, leaving messages each time. You know what there may be a great reason for not calling back, etc. but at some point I have to do something. The problem is I'm not sure what the move is yet. If I didn't feel I was going to lose the sale and the fact they said they had a used unit and they said they would get back to me quickly, I would have just kept the 302.
  18. Not to me it doesn't. They don't respond during the week so I might as well try something else. Besides, I'm pretty sure I'm not giving them my money.
  19. I don't even know what to say to this, not the lawyer part, the rest. I think I will send an email telling them, thanks but no thanks. It's good gear but not the only good gear out there.
  20. I should have expected this. A while back I had tried to contact them about buying Amarra mini, sent emails a few times and never got a response. I just don't feel like I should have to chase around people I am looking to give more than $3000.
  21. No response to my email or phone call. I'm thinking trying out the DAC 2 and then picking up a used PS Audio Phono pre with volume control and call it a day with about $1200 in savings.

  24. I've been going through Sonic Studio and I finally received a response from them last night but on a 305 which they should know is not what I was looking for. I am hoping to hear back regarding the Amarra 4 or 304 later today. The reason for the change is that I spoke twice to them on the phone last week about what I wanted, left a couple of message for them and over the course of almost 2 weeks got no response. In other words, they pissed me off. If I pulled that crap with a client or someone looking to hire me, I would lose the client and potential client. I would like to stick with SS as I am familiar with how it works and their software.
  25. We just added a Sonicwell access point in the office and it has extended the range to every corner of the office with a strong signal. I would love to put one in my house but it was a little over $400.
