Generous or not, dealers tend to discount but you may be right. As far as I can tell, they are sold direct, by Clearsound and Underwood Hifi so with so few places to purchase, the likelihood of a deal is less, I guess. I decided to keep my Sonic Studio 302 over the PWD, only based on having the ability to use my analog rig without a phono pre, with the 302. I was offered a very good deal on the 302 so I sold it knowing that I wanted to eventually move up the line. I may have to wait a bit to do that so I'm looking for other possibilities that I could move later, if I need to. I liked the PWD when I had it.

I think we went with a one piece Toto toilet. The counter top template was done this morning, so the the tops and sinks should go in Monday or Tuesday.

Since Sonic Studio is not cooperating and at my old age, my tolerance for not getting returned phone calls from people I want to give a decent amount of money to is not what it used to be I'm interested in this discussion. I think I can rulenout the Neko as it does not have volume control so, for the moment, the PWD and the Wyred 4 Sound are top of the list. The PWD gets the edge for the moment since I liked the one I owned before. I may just have to pickup the DAC 2 and try it out for 30 days. Anyonebknow if any of the dealers discount the DAC 2?

I think you are right. The last book was actually split into two books. You would think, since it's mostly written already, the damn 5th book would be out with a 6th to follow. I'm just hoping the HBO series will be good. I believe they are filming in Northern Ireland and the cast has been mostly set.

Tom, that was the second time I've had the problem with the wires breaking in the earpieces I've assumed that when they repair broken wires on the drivers they had to redo my earpieces. I'm hoping to send them back tomorrow. Both of us being in Florida, they will have them the next day but who knows when I will get them back.

On the possible good side, I am not aware of anyone else having similar issues. It seems to me if these are meant to be used by rock stars on almost nightly basis during a tour, I would think they would be more durable. I would say that maybe I got a bad set but they must have been redone the two times they went back due to the drivers coming loose. I will call tomorrow but this is getting old.

I have to send mine back for the third time. This time a piece of plastic broke off one earpiece and the the sound keeps cutting out due to a problem with the connection between the cable and the earpiece. I can get it to work but certain movements cause it to cut out. It's not like I am abusing them. I use them mostly when I walk the dogs and sitting around the house.
