I just bought Penultimate for writing notes. You use your finger and write the note. You can save the notes and email them. It works pretty good.

I think I would get the new MBP for $1099 through the education store. In terms of ram and storage, it's well worth the extra $180 or so. Are they giving away an ipod touch if you buy one?

I didn't think you could use that for the refubs. Thanks. I just checked and the price appears to be the same in the education store as it is in the regular apple store.

I may have to buy an MBP for my daughter. I think her almost 5 year old white MB is beginning to show it's age. The refurbs are tempting.

I'm with Jeff on this. I only use my MBP in the office. I only bring it home for my wife to use on occasion.

I received one as well. I believe the reason for the email is because on the website it shows May 7 as the ship date for the 3G. Those that pre-ordered got the email so we didn't think that our shipping date changed from late April to May 7. At least that's what I'm thinking.

I guess I will open the Distiller's Ed. instead of the regular 16 year I was planning to open.

I think my wifi issues have been fixed. I had Comcast come out for some issues with the cable. It turns out the signal coming in was lower than it should be. They've already repaired and the Internet is faster.

I also made an aji sauce for the steak and some Columbian guac. I'm also smoking some spare ribs with a dry rub and dark beer mop. I also have a brisket that I'm smoking for my mom. I feel a little guilty. I just bought 62 records from a friend for $100. Half of them are just about brand new 180 gram vinyl that would sell opat Acoustic Sounds for $25 to $50 each.

I first heard about this last year. I will be returning to Radioactive Records in Fort Lauderdale this year.

Carrying the iPad and my gun instead of the MBP and gun has certainly lightened my load. I can carry some extra loaded mags and it's still less weight than the MBP.

Dinny, I'm curious as to what will you use the MBP for. I have one that I use in the office and would bring home every night to use there as well. Since the iPad arrived, I think the only time I used the MBP was to jail break my spare iPhone.

I had a different Belkin or incase sleeve like the Pleat Sleeve and the Apple case did not fit in it well.
