Less than an hour to the Start.

Went to the Baltimore Marathon Expo. Found a neat product to use with Apple earbuds, called yurbuds. It improves the sound (still earbuds) and keeps them in your ears if you want to use them for running or other exercise.

The date is set for 12/5 with the festivities beginning the evening of 12/4.

My traveling days are over for the rest of the year, at least until the office closes for Christmas/New Years so Tamp will be out for me. I will know tonight which weekend in December the meet will be. I will probably rent the same place we have used the last few times in Plantation but if this stays on the smallish side, I will see if I can come up with something more interesting. I'm going to change the title of this thread and make it the meet thread.

It will be either the first or second weekend in December. Most likely the second weekend (12/12 I believe). Jp is in town both weekends but I may be busy the first weekend.

Have you already forgotten that I said last night there will be a meet in December?

The gain on my Beta was, I believe, 8 but Nate would know for sure. The JH13 sounded great out of the amp but there was too much noise.

My guess, and that is all it is, is that Jerry would offer a discount to upgrade to existing JH13 owners. That still might not be enough to justify buying the next great thing from JHAudio a year from now. However, there is no full size headphone out there now that I would prefer to have that is close to the price of the JH13. The likelihood is that will not change for the foreseeable future. I certainly would be tempted to jump to whatever he comes up with next (I know, what a shock). However, another $1,100 or more would probably keep in what I have for a while, again, knowing that the alternatives are not as good for my purposes.

Vicki, I say go easy on him. I know you cleaned the Yost but you can just take it to the range instead. Edwood is nuts, you should know better.

Did anyone write a comparison between JH13 and O2mk1 yet? I've been searching a bit and didn't find anything reliable. Nothing written but the JH13 is far better.

x2. I have not found that to be the case. You will alway find someone that says something about a pair of headphones that you may not like. However, with the JH13, I think it's safe to say that anyone that finds them "overly bassy" would be in the minority.

The time to order JH13's has come. Your resistance so far, while impressive, is futile.
