  1. To be faked, don't they need to know my MAC addresses first? Otherwise they have to guess a huge number of possibilities.
  2. I wasn't sure if it was an issue with the original design, or just a bug that he didn't get worked out in time before CanJam. I didn't ask that one.
  3. The WES prototype at CanJam had a 400v P-P voltage swing and Jack told me the final version would do 800v P-P.
  4. Congrats! I am running an older airport extreme at 5Ghz for the newer Macbooks and iMac and Airport Express (for music), and I picked up a second older one to plug in as an access point at 2.4Ghz for connecting the older gear like iPhone, Wii, Gameboy DS, PCs. Since I have to use WEP on the second router for the Gameboys, I set up MAC address filtering so people outside my home would be denied if I didn't enter in their hardware into the router. My WEP password is also a 26 digit hex password. Hoping that is safe enough. All I had to do to get my Apple Airport Extreme to see my ISP was restart my cable modem and wait a few minutes. PS: The newest Airport Extreme have two radios and can run at 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz at the same time with the same SSID.
  5. Just don't turn it up all the way, silly. At least the volume doesn't go to 11 like the Apogee.
  6. Well, I was enjoying the JH13pro so much that I ate the cost of overnight shipping when I sent them back today to have them tightened up in the ear canal portion. It seems that 5 out of my 6 customs have needed a re-fit, so I don't don't blame JHA. I must have funny ears or something, as I always used fresh new impressions. My first Livewires were too loose in both ears, and the re-dip was still too loose in both ears. So they remade them with new impressions but the left ear is now a little too tight. My spare Livewires with SE530 drivers were also too small, but I painted them with some Tamiya clear acrylic paint to thicken the right ear canal and improve the seal. I had to send the Freq Show back once because they were too loose in the right ear also, and they still came back too loose, but improved. I did the acrylic paint trick on them too, but they didn't come out as smooth as the Livewires did (I still need to do one more layer anyways). My UE11Pro fit perfectly with a good seal, but they had a sharp edge inside the left ear canal from the ridge that the foam-string made, which would hurt after a couple of hours (or repeated insertions and removals for my review). But, when I got the UE11Pro back a week later they were/are perfect. My ES3X were a perfect fit the first time out, with excellent comfort - I worn them one night for up to 8 hours straight before going to bed and taking them out. I was promised a fast turn-around jerry, and customer service with JHA has been exemplary, so I have no worries.
  7. I'm still QUITE disappointed that we wont have the KGBHSE at the July 25th Colorado meet. Is there any chance that it will be back in Colorado in time to compare to the A-10 before I send the it back? It will be a major big missed opportunity if we can't get the two of them together at the same time.
  8. That's what Jack said at CanJam to me - the final version would have double the voltage swing and 30% moar power.
  9. Mine were too loose and went back today to get re-fitted a bit tighter. The impressions were taken at CanJam and weren't old shrunken ones, but I had to wiggle and push the JH13Pro in deeper and bite down to get a seal. Then the seal would break too easily and they didn't isolate conversation level noise. Both my ES3X and UE11pro fit and seal better, so at Jerry's suggestion I also sent him my UE11Pro to scan and duplicate the shells. I couldn't send either of my two pair Livewires or Freq Show to scan because none of them fit as well as the ES3X and UE11Pro. With a good seal the sound is quite good. I spent Saturday and Sunday with them and am working on my review, but I wont have it finished until I get them back. I wanted to ask Jerry if he could turn down the UE11pro bass a little bit, but that wouldn't be fair for my review.
  10. I recently finished the "blueberry ale" that you brought to the last meet at my house - it was a little bitter and slow going, but I didn't want to see it go to waste.
  11. I just donated $20 towards medical care for "Hadley the burned cat" at their local Humane Society's website. The Humane Society of Kent County | Make a Donation
  12. EXCELLENT - exactly what I envisioned. Hopefully mine will look that good! (except I went clear with flying girl logo)
  13. What kind of phone? With Verizon?
  14. I am using the Mophie Juice Pack Air case. Almost doubles my battery life. Preordered in February and got it about a month or so ago.
  15. Enable Tethering on Fido and Rogers iPhone - Cell Phone Forums Works for me with ATT, Macbook Pro and iPhone 3G and 3GS on OS 3.0
  16. My SR-325i did indeed lose bass as they burned in, but with over 300 hours on my HF-2 there is no sign that it's going to happen with these. The bass did tighten up and become more controlled (less bass cloud) but the bass volume does not seem to let up and is just right with bowls to me.
  17. What if you got the Griffin adapter that gives you a mic with any IEM for iPhone? Then you could just get moar adapters to make the 4-pin plug work with a xbox if needed (don't know anything about xBox plugs).
  18. I would bring the T1S
  19. I am very fortunate indeed. I also have a pair of Smegma SFI woodied orthodynamics to go with my Smegma Pro stats.
  20. I've got a tracking number and it's in FedEx hands now - it will arrive on Friday!
  21. I thought I read somewhere that they don't sound much different at all. I'm trying to find it now...
  22. Curious, what would you do with the domains?
  23. If I say that I like the HF-2 moar than my old Moon Audio Cardas re-cabled ATH-AD2000, then you'll be compelled to sell the HF-2 just to spite me.
  24. I plan to be there, Saturday, but probably not Sunday (or Friday).
  25. kelvinz, my curve looks closer to yours than to it does to Hopstretch's, where I commented that I think his is pretty flat. Here is mine, which is still +/- 2dB each direction:
