  1. But has anyone here used and enjoyed these to report on them?
  2. DAMMIT! R.I.P Steve. ...more articles I read before coming here http://gizmodo.com/5838847/steve-jobs-is-dead http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/05/steve-jobs-dead_n_997223.html http://www.gazette.com/articles/died-126252-gazette-jobs.html

  4. That's cool, congrats!
  5. I wonder if that could be improved with an SSD or hybrid hard drive and more ram?
  6. Not if you are practicing bukake...
  7. Do the HE-60 drivers come standard with decent dust guards? I wonder of my old boxed up drivers are protected.
  8. Happy birthday!
  9. I laughed so hard I choked on my own spit.
  10. You friend just gave them to you, to keep for free? Did they work when you got them, and what did you think of the sound? I've turned down offers for as much as $2500 for mine. When I first got mine there was a channel imbalance and I spent $500 having new drivers, o-rings and pads installed. The bass improved a bit after the new o-rings, and they're one of my favorite headphones, although a little more bass impact would be nice. Bass presence and extension however is good. I've considered turning my old drivers and spare pads into another HE-60, since the channel imbalance would improve with 3-4 hours of warm up.
  11. The End? That's just so wrong! PS: I wish I could un-see that.
  12. Let me rephrase that, "she might not know what she's missing if she has a Shun (vs all the other crap out there she's used over the years)".
  13. Happy Birthday!
  14. I'm not sure my wife would know the difference between a Shun and a Shigefusa.
  15. The ER-6i and Jays q-JAY are tiny and short and disappear pretty deeply inside the ears, so you can put a helmet on and off pretty easily. I'd worry about many others that project more into the outer ear area.
  16. So, if your other room falls through it looks like I'll have space in my room, since Blutarsky is only driving up for Sunday and maybe Friday, but he can't spend the nights or Saturday there. If I don't have anyone who needs to crash in our room I know that my son will be happy to actually have his own bed to sleep in this year, but if we can help someone out we will.
  17. Cool, I pre-ordered it a few weeks ago and the last 2 weeks are gonna be no fun waiting.
  18. That was cute. I sure hope those kids were seat belted in place on that little train - it looks like a long drop over the sides.
  19. I understand that one. Some of the stuff I got her is practical, like the jackets, but she loves getting those for birthdays and Xmas. I got the jackets now since we wont be doing anything other than stocking stuffers for Xmas, because we're spending a week in Mexico instead of doing presents. Mexico is definitely not practical, but it will be special because her whole family is going together on this trip too (her 3 siblings, their spouses and their kids, our kids, and her mom). They all decided to use some money from her father's estate to go on a big vacation together and make some memories before her mom gets too old to do it (77 yr old). Her dad was also 77 when he passed away 2 months ago. But the funny thing is, she was thrilled over the new Ryobi self-propelled battery-operated lawn mower for mother's day.
  20. She really doesn't like jewelry (except for diamond earrings). What she's been asking for her birthday is to get that Zerona Laser fat reduction treatment (before Mexico for Xmas), since she's in good shape at 53 yr old but can't get rid of that last 10-15 lbs. So I think I'm gonna cave in on that, but the Jerky is for me.
  21. Good Luck Wonder Woman (or should I say Princess Leia) !
  22. A futon mattress bed/sofa for my son's bedroom. A couple of work jackets for my wife's birthday tomorrow. Beef jerky from the Buffalo meat store.
  23. Happy birthday!
  24. Happy birthday!
  25. Yeah, it beat spending $199 for apple to swap out the phone for a cracked screen.
