Been hangin on the North Shore of Oahu. Surfing, hiking, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and whatever else sounds like fun. I have decided to move here when my youngest daughter graduates in 4 yrs. Anyway, saw this on this page: http://www.meetup.com/All-things-Oahu/events/77515492/

Always wanted a bottom friend Check out the groups. Sword and laser is a good one with author interviews and a bi-weekly Youtube show (with Veronica Belmont).
-
Yup, that's me.

Almost everybody uses their real name over there. It's weird.

Robopocalypse and Redshirts are good but not great. I gave them both 3 out of 5 stars on Goodreads. About 1/4 into Leviathan and it's better than either (so far).

Cool website for readers: http://www.goodreads.com/ Shelves for lists and ratings for what you have read, what you are reading, and to-read, as well as customizable shelves, friends, groups, etc... If that's not enough Veronica Belmont and Felicia Day are on there as well (The Sword & Laser Group).

Looks like it has some omitted pages. I dare anyone to read the first few pages and not be immediately hooked.

Loved this book, couldn't put it down.

Sandlanche: 75% more likely to happen when wearing a white shirt.

I made up a new word yesterday: Sandlanche. When a bunch of your sandwich innards fall out when you take a bite, usually from being stacken on too heavily.

Allright listen up noob, I'm only going to say this once: The dynamic quantum structure of the natural cellulitic planck strings results in a multi-dimensional auditory aura (adora) that greatly enhances the vibrational wave harmonics as it relates to the inner cilliatic transmitters producing holograhically calibrated packets that collapse uniformly.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot. Didn't get to it the other night (taxes) and I was on the road in Southern Oregon yesterday so hopefully tonight.
-
Yup, I enjoyed it. I just finished the 2nd Culture Book: Player of Games and I enjoyed that one even more. The Golden Age looks interesting, added to my list, thanks!

My daughter dropped her 3G that I jailbroke and gave her a while back. The headphone jack, power button, and volume buttons are all not functioning. Probably a bad idea but I'm gonna try and open it tonight to see what I can do.

Yeah I would love to hear those. The regular releases are so compressed.

We like our Dyson. Got it in a trade for some carpet. I would not have paid that much for one before but now that we've had it for a few years, yeah, they are worth it IMO. Serious suckage.
