My MPX3 in the toaster variety isn't turning on. Any suggestions?

It is likely brokered and quite simply doesn't like you.... open her up and make sure the coils and such look normal.

The fuse could have lost connection.

I opened it up last night, and didn't see anything obvious, and didn't see anything that looked like a fuse...at least not the glass tubes I was expecting.

Some fuses are ceramic, but in this case I don't think a ceramic fuse would be used. Didn't some other folks have trouble with the power switches on the older toaster MPX amps?

The butter goes on after the bread is toasted....

Some amps use a fuse holder, which conceals the little fuse. So many other things that it could be though.

I assume that you checked the IEC inlet to make sure that it doesn't have a built in fuse. It might not be the most obvious thing and I don't know if Mikhail has ever used inlets of that type. It might looking something like this.

Also, it could definitely be something like the switch. If you've got a DMM it should be pretty easy to check the continuity at the switch (with the power disconnected for safety of course).

Let us know what you're able to check.
