Teddy Pardo HPN headphone amplifier

Featured Replies

I was skimming some hi-fi magazine this weekend and I noticed the announcement of this product. Teddy Pardo is mostly known for his aftermarket power supplies for Naim products.

Does anybody have experience with this amp or his other boxes? There's very little useful info on the product page (e.g., gain or power), and no reviews yet.

I think that pretty much tells you what you need to know.

I think he hangs out on the pinkfishmedia.net forum, but not sure how much he contributes. His stuff seems to be well-thought of there, and from what I gather is dissed on the Naim forum, which is probably a good thing :)

Yes, those Naim guys are so culty. My Google search immediately found a thread where the moderators silenced discussion of his stuff.

he has a few of his designs available for diy available at https://www.teddypardo.com/diy.html if you were interested in some schematics. I assume only the power supply part mattered for him anyway, and the headphone amplifier is something standard but who knows

Those cases seem nice enough for a dynalo mk 2...

Norton doesn't seem to like his site, so I haven't gone thru the security warning yet :)

And probably won't bother.

I get the same warning.

I am wondering if the warning only applies to the site, or combines the site and the info contained therein.    :P

There might be something wrong with the site's certificate. I didn't get a warning, but it was slow to load.

That site is a bit slow. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I have three of his power supplies that I use for powering some fiber media converters. I ordered them directly from his site. They were shipped promptly and safely. The power supplies seem well made and solid.
