The supporters of the Realiser A16 are still waiting.............................. and waiting..........................  and waiting......

 

And, that's just for news updates on how things are progressing.........

It's almost like investing in something you know nothing about (other than you kinda like their style) where said investment confers no equity ownership or oversight rights or even basic contractual liability ... could have some potential downsides?

Possibly........

i'm sure kickstarter and other similar crowd funding sites could offer a 3rd party insurance to buyers? 

Kickstarter has made some moves to try and curb this as they demand functioning prototypes but it is in no way a sure thing.  Indigogo is just the home of scammers with too many to list.
