And all you need is a snorkel, ice pick, and a avocado for the mod. The general secretary of the first church of nonsequiturianism evangelism approves of this message. Especially the avocado part.
Augsburger Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 lol... in all seriousness, this copper foil EMI/RFI tape from 3M is pretty sweet. I haven't tried it on any opamps, but the DACs I've used it (such as the TDA1543 in the picture) on I can definitely tell a difference. Here's a link to some general information. I plan on trying it to my PPAv2 opamps soon and will report back. I believe Alex at APL uses the copper tape thingys on his APL mod Denon cdps FWIW.
