NEW IBUDS!

Featured Replies

The most important thing to ever happen in audio, ever, Apple seems to have slightly changed/updated their standard iBuds!

Hoorah! Bring on that quality sound.

Linky?

There isn't one actually. It was mentioned by his Highness Steve in his Stevenote today. The pictures look slightly different to me though if you look on apple.com.

Oh yeah they look a bit different.

I think I like the old Nano's better.

I heard they just shrank some NOS Sony R10s and stuck them in applebud housings.

The new shuffle is pretty sexy as well. I was hoping they would go from a high volume 60GB unit to 100GB. 80GB will work too I guess. :)

It'd be nice if they could just work USB out from it at this point. I think a Ipod/Alien DAC/Pint rig might be kinda fun. I mean it's already got the USB interface built it so how hard could it really be?

Anyway, my 3G 20gig is getting long in the tooth (thrown 2 HD's already, love that BB warranty) and way short on storage space so I'm not sure how much choice I'll have when it comes to replacing it.

optical out from the iTV eh? wonder how'd that work.

Just like an airport express?

Who knows, it might have a better clock circuit.

  • 2 weeks later...

I would guess it will have a better clock circuit, since they're clearly aiming it at being connected to serious HT rigs. I don't think that was really the focus of the AEXP, which put a premium on size and having probably too much functionality.
