Sony MDR V6 Headphone Problem

Featured Replies

One of the rubber earpads came off. If you own a pair of these you know it's impossible to put these back on. Is there a plan B?

Rubber ear pads? You mean the pleather? Those aren't hard to put on.

How? there's a small slot that the pleather is supposed to go back into and i have no clue how it's possible to do.

I guess you should've thought about that before you had unprotected listening.

Do it like you did the first time but make sure not to have it fall off halfway through.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

If they're anything like the sony mdrV2s I used to have, patience is the key. Sounds like you're running a bit short on that. Try using a small screwdriver or something similar to get the edge into the slot and work your way around. I did mine at work where I don't have a lot of time to be farking with such shit, and I got mine back on.

The answer is simple.

#1 You buy there: Beyerdynamic | Padded Earcushions for DT250/DT280 | 942704 | B&H

#2 You peel the backings off your old pads.

#3. You put the backings on your earcups.

#4. You use your comfy new pads to hold the backings in place.

#5. You enjoy your newly-upgraded V6s/7506s.

You can expect much more comfort, a better seal, and possibly more bass.
