April 22, 201016 yr One of the rubber earpads came off. If you own a pair of these you know it's impossible to put these back on. Is there a plan B? I guess you should've thought about that before you had unprotected listening. there's a small slot that the pleather is supposed to go back into and i have no clue how it's possible to do. Do it like you did the first time but make sure not to have it fall off halfway through. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
April 22, 201016 yr Rubber ear pads? You mean the pleather? Those aren't hard to put on.It's hard, but not impossible. Especially with a twinkle-thumbs like me.
April 22, 201016 yr If they're anything like the sony mdrV2s I used to have, patience is the key. Sounds like you're running a bit short on that. Try using a small screwdriver or something similar to get the edge into the slot and work your way around. I did mine at work where I don't have a lot of time to be farking with such shit, and I got mine back on.
April 22, 201016 yr eh, if you can't figure it out without help, just buy a new set and give the set you have away.
April 22, 201016 yr The answer is simple. #1 You buy there: Beyerdynamic | Padded Earcushions for DT250/DT280 | 942704 | B&H #2 You peel the backings off your old pads. #3. You put the backings on your earcups. #4. You use your comfy new pads to hold the backings in place. #5. You enjoy your newly-upgraded V6s/7506s. You can expect much more comfort, a better seal, and possibly more bass.
