Have you got any suggestions?

Hello,

I would like to ask for your help in selecting my new set of phones.

The characteristics they should have are:

  • To be comfortable (this might be very subjective, I know, but give me you opinion) as I will use the for long periods of time;
  • To be durable (cables and specially connections should be resistant) as I am not the best owner for my gear;
  • To be noise insulating (I will use them to be able to focus while working in busy places);
  • To be portable.

The sound should be crispy (I mean I am not really a lot into heavy base) and light. I don't know if this is an accurate descriptions but it is what comes to mind. I listen mainly to pop/rock/indie music.

Now this would be all easy to achieve if I did not have budget limitations. I am looking for something around $50.

I was thinking on these ones:

Brainwavz M2

Brainwavz M2 IEM Earphones [brainwavz_M2] - $59.50 : MP4 Nation!, :: Low Priced MP4, MP3 Players and the latest scoop on the newest MP4 Player

or

Thinksound TS01

Thinksound TS01 10mm headphones Review (black chocolate) - Headphones - CNET Reviews

(these last ones don't seem to be very resilient though)

Keep in mind that they do not need to be earphones. They just need to be portable.

Any suggestions, knowledgeable people?

All the best and thanks for your time

Koss KSC75. Kthxbye. Not really noise-isolating tho. Or maybe the Klipsch S4?

Already posted in Head-Fi. No answers so far though and thats why I have been looking for other suitable forums.

I recommend reading Head-Fi some more then. Looking for other forums won't really help you.

Bean Dip

Mix all the ingredients, but not the corn chips, in a small saucepan.

Cook over low heat, stirring often, until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.

Keep warm. Serve with corn chips.

Ingredients

1 (16 oz) can refried beans

1 cup shredded cheese, I use a Mexican blend

1/2 cup chopped green onions (I've subbed dried shallots with equally good results)

1/4 tsp salt

1 ja r(approx 7 oz.) taco sauce

1 can (4 oz.) diced green chiles

dash of garlic powder

corn chips

maybe i'm not qualified to say this as me myself also very new to this head-case, but i totally don't understand what is the biggest problem for other newly joined member to read the welcome PM and actually understand it.

as how much it hurts and annoyed me to saw this type of "what is the best headphone under $50" or "what would you recommend for a newbie" thread started, i can only imagine how most of you feel.
