  2. The continuing Nikon D200 v. Fujifilm S5Pro (in a D200 body) battles are fun. I have the latter, but those D200 colors look great.
  3. I spy a honda fit. The d200 can do no wrong* *As long as EV>10
  4. DOH. You're right. The D200 was one of the last CCD Nikon DSLRs and that is the reason it's so prized by collectors and eccentrics. The only CCD body that followed it was the entry level D3000.
  5. Today

  6. Sorry - works now... 🤷 Tried on phone and pc before. Nice colors.

  8. CCD, right? I can see.
  9. ^ hmmm. Am I the only one that can't see these?

  11. Futzing with the D200, special "thumbnail" edition: " These are the original resolution as shot. Nice CMOS CCD color science at least.
  12. That's odd - I thought the Instax were for film, but I'm not sure why you need this instead of a phone camera.
  13. Speaking of resolution options, Fuji continues to aim for a different audience...

  15. I've got a Nikon D70. It's 22 years old now (2004). The soft plastic bits are getting sticky but everything else works ok, including the battery (I think it's much newer).
  16. Last week

  17. Ugh. I got Nikon'd. 20+ years of shooting Canon and the rapid decrease in my ability to see has made operating my D200 a challenge. I was messing with the ISO and/r the WB buttons and fat fingered the QUAL (image size) one. For three days, I was shooting with my D200 at its lowest (2.5MP) setting vs. its native 10MP. I didn't lose anything spectacular, but it's certainly disheartening to learn one was shooting on "thumbnail" resolution.

  19. RIP to Cheetah Chrome, Guitarist and co-founder of the band Dead Boys.....
  20. Thanks! LOVE Kate, Jane, and Happy, so that's a nice compliment!!
  21. This was very cool, definitely going to dive into her music more. Reminds of the art-poppier side of Kate Bush/Happy Rhodes/Jane Siberry. I love good art pop.
  22. "🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 Papua New Guinea 🇬🇧"
  23. Some uncivilized music.... 😄 The Reverend Horton heat and Messer Chups. Messer Chups was my favorite of the 2, even though they were the opener; ghoulish surf-rock. Much fun! The drummer even liked my Mayberry On Acid III shirt!

  28. Nice looking Fred's!
  29. Somehow I lived until last night not knowing the great Rod Serling, of The Twilight Zone and Night Gallery fame, also had a short lived Western, The Loner, starring Lloyd Bridges. It’s available as a currently $10 DVD set on Amazon, but also on YouTube if others are as interested as I. The first episode, wordy for a Western, certainly feels very Serling. Love how the TV frame is tightly filled. First episode The rest https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnentduopWcJz29q7eTHh0MSFKoxeTClG&si=cfZ6oRZDWQFhMIOm
