Kapex arrived. So far I’m loving it. Makes a great resting location when taking a break during my shop rearranging.

Oat milk cappuccino made me grin. Took a sip before I took a pic. I mean, hah. That’s like really good risotto: ain’t had better than at home. 20:45 in 48, 7 bar maximum with the espresso. Whatever amount of oat I steamed, which was just ice cream on the bottom and foam just hard enough to be cappuccino on top. Oh, wow it was good. I rarely grin on things I make, as I’m never happy with anything I do.

Pretty much on hold until the middle of February. The delivery for the case is delayed and I want to make sure that everything will fit before continuing with ordering the PSUs. The manufacturer has problems with their supply chain for the heatsinks... I will post an update as soon as I receive the case!

I know the Ember was a game changer for my wife. With the kids running around, she was dealing with cold coffee multiple times a day, every day. I bought her the original 10 oz for her birthday a few years back, and when the 14 oz was released, I upgraded her that Christmas. 136 degree Americanos make Lauren a happy woman.

That reminds me of a joke. One that goes back to the dimly recalled telegraph office. on semi are end of life/obsoleting the FQPF8N80C https://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/onsemi-Fairchild/FQPF8N80C?qs=oLpdVludopqPPn1yJbx16Q%3D%3D its used in the power supplies for the T2 (kgsshv) and the modern version of the blue Hawaii. thank you again onsemi for obsoleting everything that is high voltage and/or audio related. currently radio spares and digikey have stock mouser has been out of stock for some time. EDIT: As Kerry has pointed out only mouser is showing this as End Of Life so hopefully this is not the case.
