Don't know. Is there some way of checking the box for manufacturer dates? I suspect they don't move a lot of them. They also had some sort of Elec(sp?) brand as well. Awful bronze/gold color and looked sort of like 7506. Also carry the Westone U1s and U2s. I think the U2s were 299... but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I tend to go between an ER4P/S and the Senn 600s. Was in a music store today and noticed that they carried these Beyers. Anyone have any experience with either or would they recommend one or the other based on my current listening experiences? They were both $239

As a former pizza manager I'll let you in on a secret... That's called a "party cut". A lot of times we would do that for large groups with children. Wasn't the norm, but there's 2 places here in Nashville that do it as well. Jeeze... that was 20 years ago I was doing that.

Any suggestions on how to properly clean out a battery compartment that had a minor battery leak? There's not much residue, but was curious what my best options are.

The audio engineer here let me take them home last night. Hated them. I ran them through my RKV and used my NAD 541. Bloated, no detail, crappy closed headphone. Put on my Senn 600s... night and day. A lot of guys here think they're pretty good. I'm threatening them with bringing in my gear so they can get a different opinion. The Ultras would probably benefit with a better amp... but they still were bassy.

Anyone heard these? The place I work at received a couple of these as loaners. Was curious if anyone has any opinion on them. Don't know if I'll get a chance to "borrow" them for a little bit.
