Wow. Tempting and generous to open it up to us. I see they've changed the product names again (Amarra HiFi, Amarra, Amarra Symphony). For those using Decibel or Audirvana, still worth jumping over to Amarra and they've solved the memory, playlist, etc. issues?
“A komusō (虚無僧) was a Japanese monk during the Edo period. Komusō were characterised by the straw basket (tengai) worn on the head, manifesting the absence of specific ego. They are also known for playing solo pieces on the shakuhachi flute. The Japanese government introduced reforms after the Edo period, abolishing the sect. Komusō means ”priest of nothingness” or “monk of emptiness”"

Anyway, just sent Free Will by Sam Harris and The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined by Steven Pinker to the Kindle. Starting the former now.

Notifications/retrieval timing (instant), starring, labels and possibly deletion handling (at least if using Gmail). I think because it started as a Gmail frontend most of its defaults (and there aren't many setting adjustments) were created with that service in mind. Reportedly works well with other IMAPs too, but all my accounts are there.
