It will interesting to see how long it takes for this thread to reach page 2. Lots of Canadians here in Cayman. I almost feel obligated to learn the rules of hockey. I suspect I'd actually enjoy it, and soccer, cricket, and rugby, if only I knew a little something about such sports. But to hear the Canadians go on about hockey, I honestly feel like I've been completely cheated by growing up in the Midwest dominated by baseball, basketball and football, maybe with a little tennis and golf mixed in. I feel cheated by not knowing hockey in the same way I did when I first heard Sarah Vaughn's voice, and wondered why I'd never been exposed to something so beautiful before, only without all of the blood and missing teeth of hockey. Just something that has passed me by for some reason, by coincidence of environment or whatever. But honestly, it's a shame that hockey has never taken off as a major sport in the US. Ok, so yes it is a major sport, but not really; those who love it, follow it religiously, while everyone else (sadly) mostly ignores it.

Nice see those smiling faces, CJ. Good for you, man! Nothing like that feeling. Had a Christmas dinner thing on Friday night for a company I'm associated with as a director. Went out afterwards to a couple of clubs with our little group. I got absolutely mobbed by all kinds of young, gorgeous women, both attached and unattached, mostly just for cell phone pictures, but some of them were actually quite aggressive, telling Santa about all of their fantasies and rubbing his belly and umm, well pretty much anything they could get away with. I did actually manage to behave, out of respect for my girlfriend who unfortunately is off-Island at the moment. My guess is that I posed for something like 200-300 pictures, easily.

Looks like a lot of fun. Too bad you couldn't get the 009 into the mix. Next time...

jp likes them. He posted this at HF: played these over at a friends house who has the Woo Audio WA6 SE with the 274 rectifier and a fistful of black gates upgrades. They sounded nothing short of magnificent, mine sounded weird because of post flight/post cold sinus weirdness. I still think they present slightly odd but that cold be the increase in detail. I've owned some pretty detailed headphones that don't do this so I think it may be a slightly erratic frequency response. All that said they are fantastic headphones whose strengths to me are extension, tone, speed, with great bass presentation (albeit not bass head friendly) and very clean mids. I'm going to check them out with a Zana Duex later today and I'll report back. I may need to get a nice travel/storage case for these as the box is likely to get beat up over time.
