  1. I wish I had the skill to do something like this! That is teh sex.
  2. Yeah, I gotta go back in a few weeks to see how it works out. It's nice to have something there again though.
  3. Got a tooth. Hopefully it will last.
  4. That's really good to know. It's broken about halfway.
  5. I don't even know. I tripped and somehow ended up hitting it on a bench. It didn't really hurt at all, it's just kind of sensitive. Hopefully I can just get it fixed and not have to have a root canal or anything.
  6. Beck. The drummer was too loud.
  7. Maybe you could ask the gov't for a loan?
  8. I've heard pretty horrible things about the S-1 speakers, you might want to stay away. I like the amp though.
  9. You obviously are new here.
  10. I actually have the book, though I haven't looked at it yet.
  11. Just FYI, I don't think it has quite enough gain for the Dl-103. I've been borrowing postjacks Cinemag SUT and it sounds way better, just a lot more body to the sound.
  12. That's really badass, I might have to get this...
  13. Uh, is there an appreciable difference between the 33s and 45s? They just seem so much more inconvenient.
  14. Isn't that what everyone said a year ago?
  15. Wow, it's even worse than I thought. Hooray the government!
  16. Hopefully I'll be far away in college by then.
  17. At the rate you go I'd be shocked if you hadn't.
  18. Hm, well even so it's probably better than the nuforce Icon, plus the remote seems really convenient. Right now it's between this or maybe a Leben.
  19. It's built really well, and looks pretty damn cool. The tonearm lift lever is really convenient and will hopefully keep me from wrecking any more records or needles, and the only button on it is the on/off switch. There's settings for tracking weight and anti-skating, but that's about it (which is fine with me, it's less to worry about). Also the phono cable is removable for trying out different ones, but the included one seems fine to me. The one small inconvenience is that to play 45s you have to take the platter off and move the belt onto a different wheel, but that takes like 5 seconds and is much easier than it sounds.
  20. Well I dig mine, but I don't have any other TT's to compare with so that's pretty meaningless.
