  1. Cool, thanks posty. What headphones did you use? Also, how was the soundstage?
  2. I'm thinking about upgrading my headphone amp, and since I'm using my Nuforce Icon for headphones right now I might as well upgrade my speaker amp at the same time. I've heard good things about the 840A, but not much about its headphone amp. Anyone have any experience?
  3. If only it was half as much...
  4. But they're KG's designs...

Larry Coryell trio w/ Mark Egan and awesome drummer Thierry Arpino at the Paul Robeson center. It was pretty cool, we were like 2 feet away from everything. At the end he played a Ravel piece in honor of the drummer, who was French, but broke a string in the middle of it. The drummer started playing a driving beat while he switched guitars, and they finished with the bassist coming back out for an epic conclusion. Awesome. He also had his wife come out to sing some blues, which was just bizarre for a few reasons..
  8. I'm revoking all of your Jazz licenses until further review.

    That is incredible.

Yeah it definitely was. There's nothing like listening to unamplified (well other than the guitar) jazz in a crowded club.
  11. This probably isn't that helpful, but I loved my Galante Rhapsodies (which were actually coaxial I guess) when I had them, which were 96db. Though I've never heard actual single driver speakers, they had all the good characteristics that I've seen associated with them. 2 reviews: Rappin' About The Galante Audio Rhapsody by Steven R. Rochlin Rhapsody in Maple - Galante Audio Rhapsody Loudspeaker Follow-Up by Ian White I sold them cause I just didn't have the space on my desk to get the most out of them, so I'm not sure how much bass you'll get or if you'd need a sub to fill them out, but you could probably find a pair for 800 or 900 bucks on agon. Just thought you might want to check em out if you get a chance.

Paul Motian, Bill Frisell, and Joe Lovano at the Village Vanguard. Bill Frisell is fucking awesome! Sometimes he sounds like he can barely play guitar, and other times he sounds like he's 5 people, but it always is great. They were really having fun when they played too.

Anyone else playing this? It's like those old Streets of Rage/Ninja Turtles/X-Men arcade side scrollers on crack. Get 3 friends and it's incredibly fun. Anyone with a 360 owes it to themselves to spend 12 bucks on it.
  14. I will do anything Wayne Coyne says.

  22. That is the greatest douchebag song ever. Artist: Wu-Tang Clan Album: Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) Song: Da Mystery of Chessboxin' (Masta Killa's verse) He sounds like he's slicing you up with his rhymes! So damn serious.
