Have they finally confirmed the 60D? There have been a lot of rumors of it for a while, but they've all been just that - rumors. I personally don't know how they'd place 60D price and spec-wise without cutting into sales of 7D (unless, of course, they're updating 7D as well). As for LCD screen on 50D, it's same size as T2i, but T2i has bit more resolution (920,000 vs. 1,040,000). I personally couldn't comfortably use the Rebel-line bodies when I tried them out - too small for my hands and not having the second control wheel was annoying.

FWIW, Stax site states they don't repair SR-X Mk3's cable assembly. Also, the auction says that they don't know if the cans work or not since they don't have a way of checking that.

Another thing about SR-507 - all the Japanese press releases/web tidbits seem to indicate they're using different/new housing materials. Doesn't go into specifics, though.

Speaking of new product, I just noticed on Stax Japan site that they've stopped making SR-001Mk2 system. Has anyone heard whether or not they're replacing the portable system with something new or are they just pulling out of the portable market entirely? I apologize if this has been covered in this thread previously.

Yep, with same (or similar) earpads and cabling as 404LTD. The headband now had 10-step adjustment - I'm wondering how well the new headband will fit those with gigantic head. It won't go on sale until 9/1/10 - you've got plenty of time to save up for them.
