Keep in mind hard drive sharing on Airport is rather slow. I was using it to share between my Macs and wife's Windows machine but eventually gave up since its performance got to be too frustrating.

I've no recommendations, but the first thing I thought of after reading your post was Facetime/iPhone 4 commercial.

The Airport Extreme (one from about a revision or two ago) had a really great range compared to Linksys routers I had previously or the Actiontec router (I need to use it for FiOS) I'm using right now. With the Extreme, I never saw a drop in signal strength throughout my house, out in the yard, or at opposite end of the house down in my basement. With both Linksy and Actiontec routers, I saw/see drop in signal strength, though not enough to cause any issues.

I'd be weary of Frank Miller's work, especially the recent ones. The Dark Knight Returns, IMO, is a must for any Batman fans. The Dark Knife Strikes Again, OTHO, is a pile of poo. Also, let us not forget the train wreck that is All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder.

Reminds of me one of foods that I miss most for not living in Japan - seasonal cold noodles.

^ Methinks you should get the upcoming 60D, mostly since I'd be curious for a firsthand experience/account. In either case, I'd wait for the Canon Expo in NY next week before making purchases.

Yesterday, we went out for a nice dinner (I really enjoy the Restaurant Week), taking our baby girl with us. It was bit stressful at first, but she did great at the restaurant and the food was excellent. I'm sure, though, other patrons were thinking "oh crap, there's a baby here" as they walked into the dining area (we were the first ones in).

I've a $20 Nikon F to Canon EF adaptor I bought on eBay (Fotodiox) that I use on Nikon Series E 75-150mm f/3.5. It works well enough for my use, though there is a small amount of play between the lens and the mount adaptor. It's bit of a pain to remove the adaptor from the lens, so if I had multiple Nikon lenses, I'd get an adaptor for each lens and leave it on. This, of course, would make it unusable with a Nkon body. Not anything new of late. Like you, I like to be able to read a complete series so I generally don't ready/buy any until they're available as books. I may start re-reading Transmetropolitan again, another one of my favorites along with Planetary.
