The problems of modern man are immense in scope. Oh for the simple days of chasing down your food and avoiding being food. If we were to ever revert to those days, I'd want Brent as my wingman!

The original finish was lacquer, so lacquer thinner would be the product of choice for removal. Lookin' good!

It doesn't quite make me want to take up the habit of smoking, but it's pretty damn cool.

Bob Dick wouldn't be a fun name to have in grade school. -
RIP Cleo. It sounds like she had a wonderful 18+ years, with a family that loved her.

Have a fantastic day Sir! Do something unusual today. Maybe open a bottle of wine?

It looks like the weather played fair.

So, you were stung?

That is awesome! I love how you placed all the sapwood at the outside edge of the leg tops. That is a very elegant design. Is it yours?

My Top three singer/songwriters are Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark and Kris Kristofferson.

Jim, be careful with Fraternity choice. Not trying to be rude, but hazing on anyone over 50 can be rough.

Yes, I'm Thor all over! He says in his best gay lisp. I'm not a straight man, but I play one on TV.

We have a similar game in the gay community. Dungeons and Masters.

I saw him in concert. It was at a high school gym in Anchorage. The power went out in the middle of the concert. Was off for about 45 minutes. He told stories in the dark the whole time, then finished the concert when the power came back on. Best concert ever! RIP Tom.

My Mom would fry it as a breakfast meat. But usually my Mom only fixed Spam on hunting/camping trips. Until she discovered it made really good ham salad, she never used it at home. Antonio, that does look similar. Spam was cheap when I was young, but not anymore. It's not cost prohibitive, but it's also no longer the cheap alternative that it once was. The state of Hawaii is the largest consumer of Spam per capita in the USA. They adopted it after WWII soldiers introduced them to it. South Korea is now the largest consumer of Spam worldwide. Today I buy the low sodium version, which is the best tasting in my mind. Come on out of the Spam closet people. Who else ate Spam back in the day, or even now?
