I should look into that. My monitor is anything but smooth. I thought moisturizing was the key, but if this is your recommendation... Stroking my monitor again will make me happy.

Are you still waiting on this Chris? I'd definitely leave a bad review!

I don't understand. Where does the music come out at? Is that thing in-between the pontoons a giant electrostatic panel?

The lobby of my bank hasn't been open since the start of the pandemic.

I filled my tank at the gas station this morning without a mask. I was at least 6' from anyone, but still got some second glances. If you haven't bothered to get yourself vaccinated yet in the bay area, then that's your own stupidity. I still wear a mask indoors.

Well, I'll always be a butt pirate!

Just before they pulled the patch off of my eye, they told me that more times than not, your vision won't be fully matured for about a week. Then they took off the patch and immediately tested my vision. Right out of the gate I could easily read the 20/20 line of the chart. I could read all but two of the letters on the 20/15 line. The Dr. told me that at my appointment next Thursday, she wouldn't be at all surprised if my vision was 20/15. She said that happens in about the top 10% of patients. I couldn't be happier. It's so nice to be able to see in stereo vision once again. It's been about 2 years since I've had any real vision out of my right eye. And my depth perception is fully back! I may need readers in a dark restaurant, but I'm typing and reading this now with no glasses on.😎

Surgery went well. I'll have a patch on until tomorrow, so can't really assess my vision just yet.

I had wondered if it was the same company as well.

Just got driven into the city. Sitting at UCSF waiting for cataract surgery. I only have a cataract in my right eye, but it's gotten bad. I can't see anything but a blury light out of that eye. I was scheduled for surgery last April, but Covid changed all that. It's going to be absolutely amazing to be able to see out of that eye again, and have my depth perception back.

I have to say that even though some of their ideas were overlooked due to other formats, that doesn't mean that they were inferior. I had a Sony ES HiFi betamax deck in the 80's. It cost me an astronomical $1,100.00 at the time. But with it's ability to record and play in beta 1 speed and it's jog/shuttle dial, that machine kicked some serious VHS ass! I had a JVC HiFi VHS deck too. I'd rent movies in VHS, because there weren't any betamax movies to be found. But I'd record those movies onto the betamax. I'd also record music onto betamax tapes, then use it like a real to real to play hours of music at parties. That kept people from screwing with my audio system.

Sony has a habit of shooting themselves in the foot. Lucky for them they have enough cash to weather those storms.

Every time I hear "Delta Variant" I think of a bunch of Mississippi rednecks spreading the virus by having incestuous sex. Is that bolstering stereotypes?

This is a new series premiering Sunday on AMC. It's staring Anne Frances Murphy, who played Alexis on Schitt's Creek. Looks to be a Black comedy. Certainly looks to be worth a try.

Interesting. I was an early adoptor of the format. I could carry 5 or so discs with me and have 10 times the volume that my friend had on his Rio mp3 player. I also liked the "mix tape" capabilities. I had a nice Sony portable MD deck as well as a top end Sony ES home deck.

Seems like a good price. If I do portable these days, it's a very basic iPod/IEMs setup.

Unless you're doing some really extreme trail riding, open face is more than adequate. It'll also allow a bit better visibility.

How many other questions will that same answer fit?

I think he meant the other type of ping pong table. Looking good!

Similarities between Serenity/Firefly and Gilligan's Island?

But, it may be a great one to be his last post. -
Yup. I've used Al's Festool mesh sanding discs and liked them. Even Freud has gotten into the game, and is making Diablo net discs in fine and coarse grits.
